JCTSL management issues guidelines for smooth operation of buses

Jaipur: The system of urban transport in the state capital Jaipur is getting worse day by day and people are already upset due to the lack of buses. The arbitrariness of the companies operating and maintaining the buses worsens the situation further. Buses which are currently running on the routes are also not in a very good condition, there is no guarantee that when and where the bus will break down.

JCTSL, the maintenance company of the buses, is recovering the money from the management in full but is doing formality in the name of maintenance,

Even the facility of first aid kit is not available in the low-floor buses

INSTRUCTIONS ISSUED BY JCTSL

Drivers above 60 years of age will not be sent on route duty

Periodical training, refresher course for accident-free vehicle operation to drivers

A copy of the medical fitness of the drivers by getting them medically examined

Drivers should have 5 years old heavy license and minimum 3 years experience of driving passenger vehicle due to which traveling in low-floor buses is becoming unsafe. Even the facility of first aid kit is not available in the low-floor buses plying in the city Till now complaints were being received
