Advanced 100-bed ward at SMS Hosp gathers dust

Jaipur: In the biggest hospital of the State, on the one hand where the patients are struggling for the beds, on the other hand, the 100-bed ward made with stateof-the-art technology in Bangar campus for cardiac patients is waiting for the patients for almost six months.

Three Tigresses To Be Shifted To Other Reserves In State
T hree tiger reserves of the State will get one tigress each from Ranthambore for which the administration is preparing. Permission for tigress shifting has been taken from the NTCA. After the death of tigress in Mukundra only one tiger is left there. In such a situation first of all tigress is expected to be sent to Mukundra. A tigress is expected to be sent to Ramgarh Vishdhari reserve where there is also a possibility of having a couple and two cubs. ‘Sirf Ek Bandaa Kaafi Hai’ gets legal notice from Asaram

Jaipur: Four persons died of Covid-19 in the State, the health department bulletin reported on Wednesday. With this, the total deaths increased to 9,724. The deaths were reported one each from Jaipur, Jodhpur, Sikar, and Barmer.
The number of new cases, however, dropped to 50 in the health department bulletin on Wednesday. The number of active patients was recorded at 721 and cumulative positive increased to 13,25,997.
Meanwhile, 169 patients also recovered as per the bulletin. The new cases include 16 from Jaipur, 5 from Ajmer, 8 from Udaipur among other places.

First India Bureau Jaipur: Self-styled godman Asaram, sentenced to life for sexually exploiting a minor, and the Sant Shri Asaramji Ashram Charitable Trust have sent a legal notice to the makers of “Sirf Ek Bandaa Kaafi Hai” al- leging that the trailer of the upcoming film is “highly objectionable and defamatory”.
The film, starring Manoj Bajpayee, follows the story of a lawyer who goes up against an influential godman accused of sexually abusing a minor girl. The trailer was released on May 8. Confirming that he had received the notice, producer Asif Sheikh said late Tuesday that the film is a biopic on PC Solanki, prosecution counsel for the girl.

Jaipur: Unemployed youths on Wednesday staged a demonstration outside RSMSSB headquarters in Durgapura demanding announcement of pending results of various recruitment examinations.
Upen Yadav, State President of Rajasthan Berozgaar Ekikart Mahasangh, and other unemployed youths raised slogans against the State Government last year, he asked whether the MLAs who supported Sachin Pilot were cowards.
On CM’s allegations that MLA s had taken money from BJP to topple his government, Solanki rejected the allegation and said that CM is the home minister and if he had evidence then he should have already taken action in the matter. He said that he was a supporter of Pilot and will continue to stand by him.

Jodhpur: Air Marshal Narmdeshwar Tiwari, Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief, South Western Air Command (SWAC) visited Air Force Station Jodhpur on Wednesday. He was received by Air Commodore JPS Bains, Air Officer Commanding, Air Force Station Jodhpur.
He was presented with befitting Guard of Honour on his first visit to this air base after taking over as AOC-in-C, SWAC.
The Air Marshal addressed the air warriors and visited various combat units to check their operational preparedness. He inaugurated newly constructed complex to enhance the operational capability of a premium flying squadron and interacted with personnel of all combat units. and demanded that the government should issue the calendar of new recruitments and declare the pending results of examinations already held.
