The Question Hour ended before time on Friday as all the questions were asked. Speaker CP Joshi and other members expressed happiness on this.
Joshi has introduced the method where the questions of absent MLAs are asked by other MLAs, Ministers and even the Speaker himself takes up such questions.

Lawyers demand amendment in ‘Bill’, burn copy outside HC

Jaipur: Lawyers on Friday demanded amendment in the proposed provisions of Advocates Protection Bill regarding giving protection of this law only if the crime is committed in the court premises and to give exemption to file lawsuits against lawyers by their clients.

1,000 operational AYUSH centres in Raj, says Min Jully

Jaipur: Rajasthan has 1,000 operational health and wellness centres under the Central Government’s National AYUSH Mission, Social Justice and Empowerment Minister Tika Ram Jully informed the assembly on Friday.
Jully added that 914 men and 823 women had been appointed as yoga instructors on a part-time basis at these centres.

Jaipur: An amount of Rs 83 crore is outstanding with top 18 defaulters of Jaipur Greater Municipal Corporation.
The defaulters include Jaipur airport and many government departments.
Jaipur International airport administration owes Rs 19.17 crores while the outstanding amount of Jaipur Development Authority is Rs 9.44 crore, Sawai Mansingh Stadium Rs 7.38 crore and RUHS Medical College owes Rs 7.20 crore.

Earlier, in a written reply to a question by BJP MLA Gopichand Meena, Jully informed that health and wellness centres were being run by the Rajasthan State AYUSH Society according to the AYUSH Ministry’s guidelines under the centrallysponsored scheme. The honorarium of the part-time yoga instructors at these centres is determined at the ministry level, he added.
Tikaram Jully said on Friday that Janadhar card, PPO number of Divyang pensioners or UDID card of the Central Government can be used as a document to get facilities equivalent to BPL. He said that orders have been issued with the approval of the Finance Department. He said that if any department objects to this, a complaint can be made in the Social Justice Department.
Revenue Minister Ramlal Jat assured in the Assembly on Friday that efforts would be made to operate Patwar Mandals in all the remaining 35 Gram Panchayats in the Osian constituency. He said that CM Gehlot has announced the creation of 1 thousand 35 new Patwar mandals in the state in this year’s budget. He said that after the creation of new Patwar Mandals, the Mandals will be operational in most of the Gram Panchayats of the State.
CM announces leases for people living on agri lands

Jaipur: In a relief for the people living on agricultural lands in urban areas, Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has announced to issue leases of plots located on agricultural land in urban areas if the house constructed on the plot is older than 31 December 2013.
The patta will be issued for Rs 5 per sq meters. It will be allotted for plots upto size of 300 sq meter.
This exemption will be applicable till 30 September 2023. Freehold patta can also be issued if 10 year lease money is deposited. Lease of plots in nagar palika area where residential construction has been done before 2 May 2012 will be issued freehold patta for Rs 501. It will be applicable for plots upto 300 sq meter and till 30 September 2023. First India had flashed news about this on February 3.
