Kollam (PTI): A group of school children who waited on the wayside in this southern district of Kerala to greet President Droupadi Murmu on Friday during her maiden visit to the state were in for a treat when she stopped the convoy and distributed chocolates to them.
A video of the President stepping out of her official vehicle and giving the children chocolates in Karunagappally here in the morning has gone viral on social media platforms. Seeing the excited children waving at her car, the President stopped the convoy sud- per cent results came for students. A separate education board of Delhi has been created. The Central government has announced 10 per cent reservation for exAgniveers in vacancies within the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF). Along with this, the ex-Agniveers of the first batch will be given a relaxation of five years in the upper age limit.
The notice issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs also stated exAgniveers will get age relaxation of 3 years.
New Delhi (PTI): Over a fortnight after his arrest by CBI in the Delhi excise policy case, former Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia's bungalow has been allotted to Atishi, who was inducted into the Cabinet earlier this month. According to an official letter by the Public Works Department on March 14, Atishi has been asked to give her acceptance within eight days of the issuance of the letter. Sisodia had been staying at the AB-17 bungalow on Mathura Road, which was earlier with former Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit. The bungalow was allotted to Sisodia in 2015, when the AAP government came to power in Delhi. "It is a routine exercise. Since Sisodia had resigned, his bungalow will be reallotted to Atishi," said an official. Sisodia has been asked to vacate the bungalow on or before March 21, according to the letter.

13,525 POSTS LYING VACANT IN DELHI POLICE, SAYS PARLIAMENT PANEL
New Delhi: As many as 13,525 posts are lying vacant in the Delhi Police which is around 14 per cent of the sanctioned strength of 94,254, a Parliamentary panel has noted. The Parliamentary Standing Committee on Home Affairs, headed by BJP MP Brijlal, noted that the recruitment process to fill the 3,861 posts is going on and recommended that the hiring process should be completed within a fixed timeframe. The panel recommended that the remaining 9,664 vacancies may also be filled as planned by the Delhi Police.
