RTDC declares hotel stay benefits

Jaipur: The Rajasthan Tourism Development Corporation finally announced relaxation in 12 categories on stay in corporation’s hotels across the state.

There will be 50% discount to Bharat Ratna, Padma Vibhushan, Padma Bhushan, Padma Shri, Gallantry Award, Param Vir Chakra, Mahavir Chakra, Vir Chakra, Ashok Chakra, Kirti

Chakra and Shaurya Chakra winners. The exemption period will be valid from 1 April to 31 March next year.

Man dies by suicide, accuses local MLA & others in video

Jaipur: A man died by suicide by hanging himself in the walled city on Monday. Prior to it, deceased also made a video and accused some people including a local MLA of harassing him. On information of the incident, the Subhash Chowk police station team reached the spot.

The relatives alleged that deceased Ram Prasad was tortured so much that he took his own life.

The deceased use to work at transport company resides near the Kale Hanuman temple near chandi ki taksal area. The land of the de- ceased was 200 meters away from here, which had an ongoing dispute.

The deceased sent the video made before the suicide to his daughter.

Suryakant issued notice on the petition. The bench has sought reply from Shanti Dhariwal, Home Secretary and ACB.
