Dr Garg demands for GST Appellate Tribunal

First India Bureau New Delhi : Minister of Technical Education Dr Subash Garg on Saturday took part in the 49th meeting of the GST council in New Delhi. Dr Subash Garg kept the view of the Rajasthan government in the meeting and said that on the lines of GSTN- 9 and 10, amnesty should also be applicable in returns of

GSTN 1 and 3. He also demanded to build a consensus on the formation of the GST the Appellate Tribunal, two judicial and two technical members should also be kept under these benches. Apart from this, the right of appointment in the State Bench to be constituted at the state level and the right to determine the eligibility of technical members (state) should be given to the state government,” said Dr Subash Garg.

Urge For Special Package To Rajasthan

Dr Subash Garg said that CM Ashok Gehlot has already raised this issue before the Centre by writing a letter to Centre. He said that keeping in view the financial condition of states, the GST refund period should be extended till 2027 or State Govt should be given a special package on the lines of Karnataka. The Minister also demanded payment of the outstanding amount of Rs 3,012 crore till June 2022.
