ROSA robotic joint implant surgery centre inaugurated

Jaipur: Knee replacement surgery using a robot started on Saturday at Bhandari Hospital and Research Centre, Gopalpura, Jaipur. The inauguration ceremony of ROSA Robotic Joint Implant Surgery Centre was held where LoP Rajendra Rathore was the chief guest. The special guest was Dr Jagdeesh Chandra, CEO & Editor-inChief, First India. MLA Ashok Lahoty and VC of Rajasthan University of Health Sciences Dr Sudhir Bhandari were also present.

In the programme, MD of the hospital, Dr KM Bhandari informed the people about the new technology. Rajendra Rathore said that Bhandari Hospital is actually doing meaningful research on technology.

Special guest Dr Jagdeesh Chandra, CEO and Editor-inChief, Bharat24-Vision of New India and First India, and CMD, First India News congratulated Dr Bhandari for introducing this new technology.

Vasudev Kushwaha, co-convenor of Aarakshan Sangharsh Samiti, said that the people are protesting on their own. Kushwaha said that he was being asked to lead the movement. He said that until the detained agitators are released, no talks will be held with the govt. Meanwhile, the Bharatpur police had to divert the vehicles going to and from Jaipur to Agra. Vehicles from Jaipur to Agra were diverted via Bharatpur city & traffic from Agra to Jaipur were diverted from Uchain via BayanaVair-Bhusawar.

First India Bureau Churu: The ACB Churu unit arrested Head Constable Shravan Kumar and Constable Satpal Jat of Sahwa Police Station, district Churu, was caught taking a bribe amount of Rs 30,000 from the complainant. ADG of ACB Hemant Priyadarshi (Addl. Charge DG) said that ACB received a complaint that the two demanded bribes from the complainant for not making his brother an accused in a case and releasing him from police custody.

The ACB, under the leadership of Dy Superintendent of Police, Churu Unit Shabbir Khan, verified the complaint and arrested the two.

The world famous royal train Palace on Wheels (PoW) left for its fame tour on Saturday morning from New Delhi’s Delhi Cantt Railway Station and reached the State. A total of 76 passengers from India and abroad are traveling in this fame tour. On this occasion, RTDC Chairman Dharmendra Rathore, while greeting all the passengers, said that PoW is running continuously since 1982. He informed tourist about the modern furnishings and all tourist amenities in the train.

“Rajasthan govt has formulated a rural tourism policy to promote tourism and culture and to connect tourism with the villages and dhanis of the state. Under this, if a person has 2000 sq meters of land, then he can build a hotel directly without the permission of the government,” he said.

On this occasion, Dhiraj Srivastava, while welcoming the tourists traveling in the special Fame Tour informed them about royal train.

G-20 representatives and foreign delegates are also on board Pow.

The Foreign Tour Operators and G-20 countries representatives arrived on Saturday evening in the Palace on Wheels at Gandhi Nagar Railway Station in Jaipur where RTDC chairman Dharmendra Rathore and other senior officials welcomed them. They came to attend two mega tourism events to be held in Jaipur on Sunday. The one-day G-20 Tourism Expo will be held at Hotel Rambagh Palace from 10:30 in the morning. Later, in the evening, the 12th edition of the Great Indian Travel Bazaar (GITB) will be inaugurated at Jai Mahal Palace, at 7 pm.
