GRANT OF MORE THAN ` 2,313 CR GIVEN TO GAUSHALAS IN 4 YRS: CM

Udaipur: Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, on Monday, inaugurated the Farmers’ Training Centre in the premises of Udaipur Milk Producers Cooperative Union located in Govardhan Vilas. He inspected the Centre and appreciated the development works. Gehlot also addressed cattle rearers at the Milk Day function.

The Chief Minister said that the state government has left no stone unturned in the all-round development of farmers and animal rearers. “In the last 4 years, a grant of more than Rs 2,313 crore has been given to gaushalas, while the previous government had given only 150 crore rupees to gaushalas in 5 years,” he said.

CM INAUGURATES STATE- LEVEL ART FEST

Udaipur: CM Ashok Gehlot inaugurated the state level art festival organized under the joint aegis of Manikya Lal Verma Tribal Research and Training Institute and Bharatiya Lok Kala Mandal at Bhartiya Lok Kala Mandal premises. The CM inaugurated the Kala Mahotsav by lighting the lamp at Muktakashi Theater and playing traditional drums. Earlier, the CM visited the art exhibition of tribal students organised at the venue and appreciated the creations. He also inquired about the paintings made by tribal students and called upon artists to further enhance their art skills.

Gehlot will be on a oneday visit to Dungarpur district on Tuesday. During this, he will participate in the Pratishtha Mahotsav of Jain community’s Shantinath Jain Temple and along with this he will also inspect the ‘Inflation Relief Camp.’ Preparations are being made by the administration regarding the CM’s visit. CM Gehlot will reach Peeth town of Dungarpur district at 10 am, where he will first participate in the Pran Pratishtha Mahotsav of Shantinath Jain Temple organized in the playground of Peeth School. Gehlot will also address the followers of Jainism. He will then observe the newly constructed temple.
