U nder the aegis of Rajasthan Sangeet Natak Akademi, 75 eminent artistes of the state were honoured with awards and prizes at a ceremony held at the Dr SN Medical College on Saturday. 51 artistes were honoured with Kala Purodha Samman along with a fellowship, 12 awards, six youth, five child awards. Art and Culture Minister BD Kalla and Kalavid and vice-chairman of Mela Authority Ramesh Borana were special guests. Kalla congratulated the artistes on behalf of the department and said that Rajasthan has been leading in these genres.
