Jaipur: Surendra Meena, 25, who stabbed Shobha Chaudhary, 23, to death in Manoharpura town of Jaipur on Saturday, escaped from the crime scene and later consumed poison and he is undergoing treatment, said the police on Saturday. She was rushed to the NIMS Hospital where she was declared dead.

MOBILE LOOTED FROM ATS CONSTABLE

Jaipur: Two youths snatched a mobile from a police constable posted in the Anti-Terrorist Squad (ATS). Constable Babulal shouted that he is in the police, but the miscreants did pay heed, and after looting the mobile sat in an auto and ran away. Although, the constable posted in ATS chased them for some time but there was no clue of the miscreants. Babulal informed the ATS officials after the incident, after which a case of mobile robbery was registered at the Adarsh Nagar police station.
