Jagdalpur (PTI): Un- ion Home Minister Amit Shah on Saturday said the fight against Left-wing extremism (LWE) seems to be in the final stage of victory in the country and the supreme sacrifices made by the CRPF personnel while battling the menace has a big role in it.

Speaking at the 84th Raising Day event of Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), he said security forces have put up a strong fight against the LWE in the last nine years and achieved success on all fronts. Highlighting the role of CRPF in the fight against Naxalism, he said the credit of wiping out hindrances in the path of development in Maoist-hit areas goes to the CRPF personnel.
“The fight against Left-wing extremism seems to be in the final stages of victory and the supreme sacrifice made by your family members has a huge contribution in it. PRIMARY SCHOOL LOCKED, STUDENTS FAIL TO APPEAR FOR ANNUAL EXAM IN ODISHA
Odisha: Over 30 students of classes 1 to 5 of a primary school in Odisha’s Koraput district have failed to appear for the ongoing annual examination as the institute remained locked. The incident occurred on Friday in Turli primary school under Narayanpatna block of the district. None of the two teachers of the school was present. I will inquire into the matter. If the examination has not been conducted, action will be taken against the teachers concerned,? Block Education Officer Raghunath Pangi said. GANG’S 3 MEMBERS ARRESTED IN DELHI
New Delhi: The police on Saturday said they have arrested three alleged members of the Sandeep Badwasnia gang from west Delhi’s Uttam Nagar area. The accused have been identified as Gaurav Rana (32), Ankit Chaudhary (32), residents of Mungeshpur, and Rohit (30), a resident of Qutab Garh village, they said. Two pistols and 12 live cartridges were recovered from their possession, they said. The trio was previously involved in several cases including murder, they said.
