2 terrorist associates arrested in Jammu and Kashmir
Srinagar (Agencies):
The security forces have arrested two terrorist associates linked with terror outfit Lashkar-eTaiba (LeT) in Sumlar area of Bandipora and recovered incriminating materials and two Chinese grenades from their possession, an official said on Saturday.

“Acting on specific information regarding the movement of terrorist associates, the police along with Army (14RR) and CRPF at a checkpoint intercepted two suspected persons identified as Abrar Ahmad Wani a.k.a Abu Qadir and Danish Pervaiz, both residents of Sumlar in Bandipora,” a police officer said.
A case has been registered and further investigation is initiated.

and other incriminating materials were recovered from their possession. They have been arrested and shifted to a police station where they remain in custody,” the official said.
Poonch (ANI): The Army on Friday foiled a bid to smuggle narcotics and recovered 10 packets of narcotics near the Line of Control (LoC) in the Poonch sector here, an official said. “Indian Army foiled yet another attempt of narco-terror smuggling by recovering 10 packets of narcotics near Line of Control in Poonch Sector,” a White Knight Corps statement said. Officials on March 12 said the Army during a search operation near the Line of Control at Jhangar and Naushera sectors recovered two sophisticated pistols, two kg narcotics, and two kg Improvised Explosive Device (IED). The operation had averted a major incident that could have been initiated by perpetrators using the weapons and the IED, funded by the narco-terrorists.
