Bharatpur: An Indian Airforce plane - Mirage 2000 - crashed in Bharatpur on Friday morning. Sources informed that the incident occurred at Nagla Bija under Ucchain Police Station and two people were onboard the aircraft. The debris fell at different places and was scattered 500 meters in the area.
The plane took off from Agra and caught fire midway 10 kms before it crashed. The Indian Airforce has ordered a court of inquiry in the incident. Following the incident, officials of police and dis- trict administration reached the spot and started rescue operations.
