Thane (PTI): A team of women security personnel caught two persons for allegedly stealing the mobile phone of a suburban train commuter at Thane railway station, the government railway police (GRP) said on Saturday. The two men, identified as Rakesh Dhotale (21) and Prem Dhavale (20), struck when commuters were entering a packed local train on platform number 4 on Friday. One of the accused grabbed a commuter’s phone, but she raised an alarm, and security staff nabbed the duo.

MLA Ashish Shelar has organized a statging of renowned Marathi play “Janata Raja” in central Mumbai’s Dadar from March 14 to March 19.
The theatrical presentation will celebrate the life of Chhatrapati
Shivaji Maharaj, the BJP lawmaker said on Saturday.
The six-act stage drama will be presented in the evenings at Shivaji Park, said the MLA in a press conference.
