Pune: The Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) on Tuesday said Nana Kate will be its candidate for the upcoming bypoll to Chinchwad Assembly seat in Pune district. The announcement comes days after Chief Minister Aghadi along with the Uddhav Thackeray-led Shiv Sena) to honour the political tradition in the state to ensure unopposed bypolls to seats falling vacant due to the death of sitting lawmakers.

Worli meet draws flak from Thackeray

Mumbai: Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis held a meeting on Tuesday in Worli and received flak from Yuva Sena chief MLA Aaditya Thackeray, who verbally attacked both the leaders over the same.
