Oaks Ibn Battuta Gate Hotel, the crowned jewel of Dubai, hosted one of India’s premier single-day fashion events called Fashion Connect, season 14, Presented by First India News and Bharat24-Vision of New India on Sunday, March 19. Jagdeesh Chandra graced the evening and appreciated the designer, Aishwarya for her ravishing collection. His Highness Sheikh Juma Bin Maktoum Al Maktoum was present as the Chief Guest and Yakoob Al Ali, Executive Director and Private Advisor in His Highness Office attended the show as the special guest. Designer Aishwarya mesmerised the audience with her stylish yet comfortable collection, Bloom which is part of a luxury brand of women’s western wear, Escape that has been blooming across India for the past five years. The spring-summer collection was inspired by the freshness of flow ers and the softness of petals that come alive during the season. A stunning array of dayto-night clothing that captures the freshness of the season and fea tures cotton wear that is soft and light, perfect for those warmer days. Talking about her ex quisite brand and col lection Aishwarya said, “The word ‘Es cape’ for us means a zone where you feel the most confident and true to your self. Everyone has an Escape zone, be it, having a cup of tea in the morning or taking a dance class. You feel yourself and are not judged by the outside world. At Escape, we aim at making clothes which make you feel confident and true to yourself. For our springsummer collection, Bloom, we were inspired by the delicate petals of the flowers which are soft and comfort ing on the skin and which reflect through our de signs. We were also inspired by the colour palette of the spring which adds to our ex isting colour palette.”
