Union Minister Releases new logo of EIACP and an Infographic Booklet ‘Lexicon of LiFE: A-Z of Sustainable Lifestyle’

Ya- said that we now need to shift gears from spreading information to spreading awareness.

While addressing the ‘National workshop on LiFE’ Yadav said everyone has to introspect on whether his/her actions are LiFE-conscious. He highlighted the need for environmental sense on the lines of civic sense and moral sense. He said there is imminent necessity of social consciousness around LiFe actions. The workshop saw participation of about 60 ‘Environmental Information, Awareness, Capacity Building and Livelihood Programme (EIACP) Centres across the country. The Minister acknowledged the work done by the Centres for promotion of Mission LiFE.

The new logo of EIACP as well as an Infographic Booklet ‘Lexicon of LiFE: A-Z of Sustainable Lifestyle’ was also released by the Union Minister.

Yadav Meets German Delegation To Explore Pathways To Sustainable Development

New Delhi: A bilateral meeting was held between the Indian delegation headed by Union Minister Bhupender Yadav and the German Delegation headed by Ralph Brinkhaus for the German-Indian Parliamentary Group of the German Federal Parliament (Bundestag) here on Monday. Yadav said our conversation focused on exploring pathways to sustainable development, particularly focusing on circular economy, tackling single-use plastic, forest management and climate resilience. The German delegation raised issues relating to impact of climate change on forests, trilateral cooperation in Africa on environment and climate, circular economy, alternatives for plastics.
