Karl T. Murphy

After 38 years of service, Karl T. Murphy bid farewell to FirstLight and retired as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) at the end of January 2023. He joined the credit union in 1984 and had served as CEO since 2003.

38 years is more than just time, it’s a legacy. Karl leaves with us a legacy of moral character, integrity, and compassion that touched our organization, community, and at the heart of it all, family.
