welcome FIRST NATIONAL WANAKA PROPERTY GUIDE Wanaka continues to be a hotspot of real estate activity, with demand exceeding supply. This has the effect of putting pressure on prices and accordingly the median price of a Wanaka house for 2016, now sits at $863,000, well up on the 2014 median of $569,000 and the 2015 median of $695,000. The price of sections has increased relative to the price of houses and titled sections remain in short supply. There has been an abundance of untitled sections released recently with buyers having the benefit of settling in approximately 12-18 months after the work is completed and titles are issued.
