“When the Sabbath was past, Mary Magdalene and Mary the mother of James and Salome bought spices, so that they might go and anoint him. And very early on the first day of the week, when the sun had risen, they went to the tomb. And they were saying to one another, ‘Who will roll away the stone for us from the entrance of the tomb?’ And looking up, they saw that the stone had been rolled back — it was very large. And entering the tomb, they saw a young man sitting on the right side, dressed in a white robe, and they were alarmed. And he said to them, ‘Do not be alarmed. You seek Jesus of Nazareth, who was crucified. He has risen; he is not here. See the place where they laid him. But go, tell his disciples and Peter that he is going before you to Galilee. There you will see him, just as he told you.’ And they went out and fled from the tomb, for trembling and astonishment had seized them…” ~ Mark 16:1-8 (ESV) ~ Blessings on your week — and don’t forget that we celebrate our “Risen Savior” this Easter Sunday. I hope to see you in worship! Pastor Terrell

Please contact me to be a part of this adventure! Sincerely in Christ, Pastor Frank

I have been either singing in church or listening to singing in church ever since I can remember. But why do we sing in church? Well, the book of Psalms is full of admonitions to sing, and God established and inspired musicians to sing his praises in the tabernacle and the temple. We find individuals and groups singing in the Bible for all sorts of occasions. David sings a lament after the deaths of Saul and Jonathan in 2 Samuel. In Luke Mary sings after the announcement that she will be the mother of Jesus, and Zechariah sings at the birth of John the Baptist. In Revelation the four living creatures and twenty four elders sing a new song, and that is followed by thousands upon thousands of angels singing praises to God. So, not only do we sing each Sunday, but sometimes we have special times of even more singing. Easter is one of the times when we have more music than usual, and Sunday evening on April 30th will be another. We will be having a music night for our evening service, and you are invited to come and sing and listen to others sing. If you have something special that you would like to sing that evening, please let me know. Otherwise, please plan on joining with us for a night of music and praise to our Lord.

He is risen! He has risen indeed! Spring is such a wonderful time of year and this year is no different. Easter is always a wonderful time of year to be reminded of God’s love, Jesus’ sacrifice and his conquering of death and sin. The last few weeks, in our youth Bible studies we have been examining the simplicity of the gospel and ways to communicate that message to our un-churched friends. These studies have been focused to ensure that every student feels comfortable in their understanding of how simple the gospel is to understand. In addition, they are focused with the idea that communicating this simple gospel is not difficult. Each Wednesday, students are challenged to pray for their friends that don’t yet know Jesus and to prayerfully try to demonstrate God’s love to them every day. In addition, they are encouraged to prayerfully pray for and invite their friends to youth each week. As we continue to get ready for camp in June, I would like to invite you all to a car wash we are having on April 29th at Big O Tires. It will be from 10 to 1 and we want to be able to provide a service to you for a small donation that will go a long way for the students as they work their way to camp. Thank you all for your continued support both prayerfully and financially as we look forward to what God will do in our lives at camp. Pray for the following as they are attending this life changing camp this summer: Kaitlyn Gagnon, Sierra Anderson, Jami Gagnon, Silas Gagnon, Johnathan Rhodes, and Josh Horman. Please by praying for the leaders too: Don Gagnon, Mindi Gagnon, Alex Roberts and Shelly Horman. In Christ, Don Gagnon minister to youth.
