“Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good; his loves endures forever. Let the redeemed of the LORD tell their story —” ~ Psalm 107:1-2 ~ Just a quick word for you just before Thanksgiving — since most of you will be reading this on Wednesday this week. In Christ, we all have a story to tell of God’s enduring love and faithfulness to us. The question is not the story itself, but rather is… are we ready each day to share it? The great English Preacher, Charles Hadden Spurgeon once said: “Before you go out into the world, wash your face in the clear crystal of praise. Bury each yesterday in the fine linen and spices of thankfulness.” Let me encourage you to develop and practice the discipline of praise and then learn to choose how to look at your past with appreciation of all that God has done for you. Then you can really “Give Thanks” to God and share your own unique story as one of the redeemed. Blessings on your Thanksgiving. Pastor Terrell P.S.
