One would think living outside of our little town of Skull Valley; everything would be nice and quiet. It is mostly except at nighttime when the coyotes start yipping and howling. Then there seems to be an increasing number of trains that have to blow their horns multiple times. To help cover up some of the noise, Anna and I have a little fan that we run to create some white noise to tune down the outside noise and lets us sleep. In this case, white noise is good, but it is not always. Whenever we go to a place that has a noisy environment, even if it is just people, it becomes white noise. This white noise is not good, mostly because I have a hard time hearing. There are times when someone could be right in front of me, and I cannot understand what they say. Luckily, I can make some adjustments to my hearing aids that help a lot.

With all that seems to be pulling our attention lately, it becomes like white noise. It becomes hard to hear and sometimes even understand what matters in life. Now more than ever, I have to make sure I have a quiet time daily with God and His Word. During these times, God reminds me He is in control, and He guards my heart and mind.
Thursday, December 3rd @ 10:00
Philippians 4:7 And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

There is a great need for the residents of the Mountain View Manor in Prescott. There are about 50 residents of this nursing home who rarely have visitors or gifts and need basic supplies. They have requested gift bags with full size: shampoo conditioner lotion toothpaste giant-sized font word search or crossword book (All items can be purchased at dollar stores for $1 each)

Our ladies ministry will collect completed bags, individual items, or donations of $6 per bag through this Sunday, November 29, 2020. Thank you for your generosity and help for those in need..
