The Congress will take place at the University Campuses of Badajoz and Évora during the 15th, 16th and 17th of September 2020. During this event, processes and foreseeable scenarios which our society approaches from a scientific, technical and political perspective will be analyzed on environmental and territorial matters. Contextually, several themes will be addressed, namely: Public Sustainable Management; Corrective Policy on Inequalities; Right and Environmental Legislation; Urban Planning; Sustainable Tourism; Territorial Planning and Resilience; Climate Action; Hydrological Resources; Biodiversity; Renewable Energies; Local Communities and Economic Development; Innovation, Infrastructure and Technologies; Education on Development; Migration and International Cooperation. Early Registration: The deadline for submitting Abstracts of Papers will be open until the 30th of June 2020. Registration fees: Early Registration (till the 30th of June) – 100,00 €; Regular Registration (till the 30th of July) – 150,00 €; Students and members of FISAT 50,00 € (subject to confirmation); Estudiantes e Investigadores de Institutos Organizadoras– 100,00 € (subject to confirmation).
Every registered author may submit up to 2 papers. For each ADDITIONAL PAPER an extra fee of 100,00 € is required.
The submitted abstracts will be reviewed by the Congress Scientific Committee, according to the adequacy of the contents of the Congress topics. Please submit an abstract of no more than 250 words (the abstract can be handed in in Spanish, English, Portuguese or French). The author should identify which type of presentation they are submitting the abstract for (oral presentation of poster). The scientific committee reserves the right to propose a different type of oral presentation according to the subject of assigned table. Posters should be developed on A1 format according to the template available on the congress website. All the accepted papers/abstracts will be published in the conference Book of Abstracts (with ISBN) which is foreseen as a Congress outcome. THE BEST RESEARCH PAPERS will be invited to submit full versions to book editors and Scientific Journals associated with the event, as is the case of: -
As a book chapter – by the prestigious publisher THOMSON REUTERS – subject of an additional editing fee of 300,00€ once accepted after a peer review process.

As a research paper on REVISTA MONFRAGÜE DESARROLLO RESILIENTE (ISSN 2340-5457) – This journal focuses on scientific Works regarding the approach of resilience, as a more concrete approach than the traditional concept of Sustainability – No publication fees.
Accommodation costs are not included in the congress fee, only lunch and the bus between Badajoz and Évora, as for the excursions Congress Languages: Spanish, English and Portuguese.
