Tray System
This 8” wide tray system is the most popular tray system for both the college and high school market. The 8” wide board meets all the specifications for college and high school. The weatherproof highdensity urethane top surface of the board makes an excellent rake off surface. The take-off board is mounted to a steel framework with 6 adjusting bolts so that you can level the board with the runway surface. The heavy-duty tray is made of bright zinc plated steel.

2013 NCAA Softball Rule Changes Section 2.1 A backstop is required. It should be a minimum distance of 25 feet and a maximum distance of 30 feet from home plate. It is recommended that the backstop be vertical and not extend over the playing field. When the backstop is wood, cement or brick, it is strongly recommended that it be padded from dugout to dugout beginning no higher than 1 foot off the ground and extending to the top of the wood, cement or brick or 6 feet from the ground, whichever is shorter. Padding is required by the 2016 season.

PITCHING AIDS 360° PITCHING TARGET
Effective Velocity, by definition, is the study of pitch speed and how location changes the reaction time by forcing the hitter to hit the ball at a contact point that is different than they were ready for. When a pitcher throws the ball “inside” or “outside”, the speed of the pitch changes because the hitter needs to adjust to the location. A pitch can change up to 3 MPH for every 6” inches that the ball changes laterally. The 360° Pitching Target helps a pitcher with location, thus fine-tuning his Effective Velocity.
