ANNUAL REPORT
FISHER HOUSE FOUNDATION, INC.
OUR MISSION Fisher House Foundation, Inc. is an international not-for-profit organization established to improve the quality of life for members of the military, retirees, veterans, and their families. The Foundation builds comfort homes at military and VA medical centers and gifts them to the government. It assists with the coordination of private support and encourages public support for the network of comfort homes known as “Zachary and Elizabeth M. Fisher Houses.” It works to educate and inform the military and veteran communities, their families, and the general public about Fisher Houses and provides necessary support to individual Fisher Houses as needed. Other programs include scholarships, a grant initiative for nonprofits with innovative plans for quality-of-life projects, the Hero Miles and Hotels for Heroes programs, and individual assistance to members of the military and their families during a crisis.

FROM KEN FISHER Dear Friends: There is no doubt about it—2020 was a challenging year. Together, we faced those challenges head-on by finding creative ways to continue helping our military, veterans, and their loved ones stay connected as their needs intensified during the pandemic. Thanks to your support, we opened six new houses across the country and began construction on a new home away from home in Kansas City, Missouri. In 2021, we will break ground on two new Fisher Houses in Columbia, South Carolina and Lexington, Kentucky, and we will build a second house in Bay Pines, Florida, to meet increasing demand. Your generosity continues to increase the amount military and veteran families save in unexpected expenses. Since 1990, Fisher House has saved families a total of $525 million. In 2021, Fisher House Foundation was awarded our 17th consecutive four-star rating from Charity Navigator and was named “Top Charity for Veterans” by WalletHub. We understand how important it is to be good stewards of the funds so generously provided to us. Thank you for serving our nation’s military heroes and their families. We look forward to our continued partnership.
