FROM KEN FISHER

Dear Friends:

2022 was an exciting year as we resumed many of our regular activities supporting military service members, veterans, and their loved ones. I am so grateful that you were there, by our side, helping those who have done so much for our country.

Our Mission

Ken Fisher

Last fall, we announced that Fisher House Foundation is officially on the Road to 100 Fisher Houses. We completed two new houses in Lexington, Kentucky and Columbia, South Carolina, and there are two more houses under construction in Bay Pines, Florida and Columbia, Missouri. Currently, there are 94 Fisher Houses that have saved military and veteran families $575 million over the past 33 years.

The Foundation was proud to sponsor Team U.S. families at the Invictus Games in The Hague and host the Friends and Family Program at the DoD Warrior Games in Orlando, Florida. Families cheered on their wounded, ill, or injured service members as the athletes competed in adaptive sporting events, and they celebrated how far the athletes have come along the road to recovery.

Thank you for joining us on the Road to 100 Fisher Houses. We are excited to celebrate this incredible milestone but know that the need continues. With your help, Fisher House will continue making a difference for our greatest national treasure, our service members, veterans, and their loved ones.

Sincerely,

Kenneth Fisher Chairman & CEO Fisher House Foundation, Inc.

Fisher House Foundation, Inc. is an international not-for-profit organization established to improve the quality of life for members of the military, retirees, veterans, and their families. The Foundation builds comfort homes at military and VA medical centers and gifts them to the government. It assists with the coordination of private support and encourages public support for the network of comfort homes known as “Zachary and Elizabeth M. Fisher Houses.” It works to educate and inform the military and veteran communities, their families, and the general public about Fisher Houses and provides necessary support to individual Fisher Houses as needed. Other programs include scholarships, an awards program recognizing innovative programs for military and veteran communities, the Hero Miles and Hotels for Heroes programs, and individual assistance to members of the military and their families during a crisis.
