Dear Friends,

Welcome, and thank you for joining us at The Golf Club at Lansdowne Resort for the 2024 Fisher House Golf Classic.

Fisher House is swiftly moving along the Road to 100 Fisher Houses. Just last month, we celebrated the dedication of the 97th Fisher House in San Antonio. We also continue construction on houses in Memphis and Detroit, and I am excited to announce that we broke ground on our 100th Fisher House in North Chicago last month.

We are grateful to you for helping us reach this incredible milestone. Our work doesn’t stop here, though. We know that the need continues across the country, and that’s why we are working on the plans for houses in Little Rock, Pittsburgh, and Puerto Rico, to name a few.

Once we reach 100 Fisher Houses, more than 1,400 military and veteran families will be able to stay in a Fisher House on any given night. That equates to more than 500,000 room nights every year. Thanks to your support, military and veteran families can stay together during their medical journeys without worrying about expensive hotel costs. Thanks to you, families can focus on what is most important: healing.

You are making an impact by being here today, whether this is your first Fisher House Golf Classic, or you have been attending for 21 years. I am grateful for your support for our greatest national treasure, service men and women, veterans, and their families.

Your support of the Golf Classic allows Fisher House Foundation to provide “a home away from home” for service members, veterans, and their families during a medical crisis. I have been personally involved with the Foundation for over 20 years and am honored to serve as chairman of the Fisher House Golf Classic for the past eight years. I have seen firsthand the tremendous impact a Fisher House has on families. This is an exciting time to be a friend of Fisher House as construction begins on the 100th Fisher House.

I want to thank the Fisher House Golf Classic Committee, which works tirelessly to create a quality event for its donors and partners.
