Celebrating a year of the Women in Recreational Fishing Network Queensland

The Women in Recreational Fishing Network (WIRFN) Qld is celebrating their one-year anniversary! Since its launch, the program has achieved significant traction, reaching more than a thousand members on Facebook. It’s been an active year with highlights including:

• Workshops at the Australian Fishing Trade Association Trade Show on the Gold Coast

• Meet and greet events on the Gold Coast, Cairns, Brisbane and Sunshine Coast

• Attendance to the World Recreational Fishing Conference in Melbourne

We will be calling expressions of interest for the new cohort of leaders to join the WIRFN Leadership Program.
