Winter skin and menopause

It is common knowledge that all these skin changes are due to hormone depletion and imbalances, and whilst HRT (Hormone Replacement Therapy) can improve the condition of your skin (to a certain extent) it can’t always fix what has been lost or even allow you to continue reaping the benefits of the skin care products that you have been religiously using all along before menopause hit. HRT can reverse some of the internal biological factors brought about by the menopause by restoring some of the previous functions of the skin but this is by no means 100% restorative or effective.
