Whilst visitors today will know the areas as the site of the Magna Carta Memorial or the famous 2,000-year-old yew tree, the landscape has actually seen some dramatic changes over the centuries. The archaeological investigations undertaken by the National Trust and Surrey County Archaeology Unit reveal how life revolved around the River Thames for thousands of years.
