THERE IS SOMETHING FOR EVERYONE THIS SEASON AT HATFIELD PARK

Hatfield Park and Gardens is now open for the season, and there really is something to enjoy for all the family!

You can enjoy a peaceful stroll around the beautiful sundial, West Parterre and Old Palace Gardens, which have been carefully curated and nurtured over the ages. Visit the adjacent Woodland Gardens and find yourself surrounded by the beautiful mature beach and oak trees, and magnificent rhododendrons.

The children will love the meandering Woodland Walks – choose from 3 different routes which vary in length, perfect for getting out in the fresh air, taking in some healthy exercise and enjoying the tranquillity of the park. You may also see the oak tree under which Queen Elizabeth 1st was sitting in 1558 when she was told she was to become Queen.

Wednesday during the open season. Expect to see stunning parterres, elegant topiary and an array of wild plants guaranteed to delight.

A visit to the historic Hatfield House, one of only 10 Treasure Houses in Great Britain is sure to delight the whole family. An experience unlike any other, you will see highly opulent, dramatically and extravagantly decorated rooms of scale filled with art and historical artifacts, to breathtaking views of the parks and gardens, to learning about the incredible history over the ages that has been made within the walls of the House – there really is something for everyone this season at Hatfield Park.
