BARNET CLASSIC CAR SHOW

The event starts with a parade of classic cars along the High Street in High Barnet between 11.00 and 11.30 am. The cars are then on display in the car park of The Spires Shopping Centre until 2.00 pm. Admission is free, but there will be a collection for charity.

Come and pull some levers make the signals work, ring the bells and watch Thomas The Tank Engine and Friends on our garden railway. Watch the trains go by on the main line and see how the signal box worked from1892 until closure in 1979.

ASHWELL AT HOME 2023 - ‘A DAY IN THE COUNTRY’

Ashwell at Home is an annual fundraising event held in the village of Ashwell in north Herts, when this beautiful and historic village welcomes visitors from near and far for a whole day of entertainment. The theme for 2023 is ‘A Day in the Country’ and there will be lots to see and do including a wide range of open gardens of all types and sizes, free workshops for adults and children, plant sales, live music and entertainment around the village, talks, displays and guided walks, refreshments, lunches and much more. Entry is by programme: £10 adults (under 18s free with accompanying paying adult). Parking is free.
