Furniture on the High Street.

Cobham Furniture established their showroom on the High Street in 1983. Serving principally London and the South-East, their extensive showroom displays have always played an integral part in convincing clients of the importance of design, quality and personal comfort in the furnishing of residential spaces.

Early beginnings.

Perhaps still best known as a retailer of soft seating, The Company built their early reputation working with the exquisite upholstery manufactured by the UK manufacturer, Duresta. It is a measure of the success of this partnership, that 40 years later, Duresta remains a key supplier.

The Company grows.

Over the years, a number of additional international suppliers have been introduced, each occupying a strategic position in the curated collection. Beds from Vi-Spring and Hypnos and further selected upholstery designs from Collins & Hayes, Michael Tyler and John Sankey.

Further expansion.

In 2016 the Company acquired Jeffries Carpets, the local flooring retailer. Carpets from leading mills and vinyl flooring from Amtico have proved successful additions to the scope of products and services now offered by the Company. Floorcoverings have also provided a natural introduction to Contract work and the new build housing market. This service has recently been supplemented by the introduction of high quality joinery and built-in wardrobes from Lema and Porro.
