THE ROYAL TREATMENT:

Mayfair unveils spectacular secret garden party in celebration of the King’s Coronation. 6-7 May 2023

London’s iconic Mayfair will be celebrating in style from giant screenings of the Coronation events to immersive experiences across food, drink and entertainment, hosting a party like no other in Grosvenor Square from 6-7 May.

Honouring Mayfair’s incredibly strong links to the Royal Family, London’s iconic neighbourhood will mark the Coronation of King Charles III with a first of its kind, secret garden party right in the heart of London – a celebratory event transforming Grosvenor Square into an enchanting urban garden wonderland with world class entertainment and dining.

From the co-inventor of Coronation Chicken, legendary floral designer Constance Spry, having owned a shop on South Audley Street to Mayfair being home to various Royal Warrant holders such as Purdeys and H.R. Higgins, to the late Queen Elizabeth herself being born in the neighbourhood, it is only fitting that Mayfair will be heralding the King’s Coronation in style. The neighbourhood’s celebratory party will be nothing short of an experience fit for royalty offering a fanciful aesthetic of a beloved garden soiree drawing inspiration from Alice in Wonderland while celebrating new age opulence across food, shopping and celebration.

Rejoicing in the first Coronation in almost 70 years, this once in a lifetime party will indulge the senses with an assortment of special experiences including Coronation themed cocktails and modern twists on famous Coronation dishes to sample.

The square will also be displaying cinema sized screens and seating throughout, offering an unforgettable location to watch the Coronation ceremony and Windsor concert across both the Saturday and Sunday of the Coronation weekend. The Mayfair Secret Garden Party will kick off Mayfair’s spring and summer of celebrations.
