Portraits of Golden Cap Local artist Edward Hall draws his inspiration from the dramatic coastal and inland landscapes of Dorset’s Jurassic Coast. At Lyme Regis Museum’s Rotunda Gallery until 5 March, his latest exhibition, ‘Portraits of Golden Cap’, explores the iconic form and setting of this highest point on the south coast. Hall’s formative years in rural Essex and Cumbria nurtured his love of the outdoors and a lifelong passion to explore and interpret the landscapes around him through painting. After a busy career as a chartered landscape architect that left little time for painting, he made a recent lifestyle change that resulted in a move to West Dorset.

The Old Vicarage - Open Garden for NGS

1.7 acre wildlife garden with hundreds of different snowdrops, crocus and other winter flowering shrubs. Followed by other bulbs including large swathes of narcissi and hundreds of tulips, camassias and alliums. A wonderful stream meanders down to a pond and there are lovely reflections from the swimming pond, the first to be built in Dorset.

Join Leo and Tracey, professional dancers and teachers of the Argentine Tango at their friendly School of Tango in Bournemouth. A beautiful dance based on walking.
