Phil Jarman is relishing Sandbanks life after moving down from Cambridge to the peninsula in the summer and hastily opened up his incredible new VIP Lounge called The Sandbanks Barber co.

Phil’s barber journey started 35 years ago in a Scottish shipbuilding town Port Glasgow and from finishing his apprenticeship at 18 years old the world was literaly his oyster.

After many years of traveling and living in some amazing places like Bermuda and California , Phil stated “I am so grateful for my mentors when I was an apprentice as they gave me a incredible gift that I’ve been able to pass on to industry peers and also customers alike all over the world and now Dorset”.

After running some very successful hairdressing businesses in West Sussex, Hertfordshire and also Cambridgeshire Phils move further south has been a game changer for him ... walking on the beach most mornings and getting in the sea has been such a fantastic experience and is a far cry from the hussle and bustle and of course the dreaded M25.

Recently Phil has been cutting hair on the biggest stages on a global scale from London to Japan, India ,Poland ,Italy ,Turkey ,Portugal and Spain passing on to hairdressers and barbers the formula that has helped him rise to the top of the men’s hairdressing world .

But being behind the chair is Phil’s biggest passion in being a barber and stated “I am absolutely delighted to have opened up in sandbanks and gives me the opportunity to build a completely new clientelle”

Phil offers an incredible service and boasts he could make any man the 2nd best looking in Dorset.

“When you have a customer in the chair and you make them so thrilled with a haircut to suit them it comes back to you in abundance and literally is the best job in the world”
