You may decide on a sharing fish or meat platter, all served with delicious chargrilled vegetables, pesto and padron peppers with capers, cornichons and freshly baked home-made bread rolls. Perhaps you would prefer a light bite such as salt and pepper squid with siracha mayo, or smoked salmon with crème fraiche and roquette? Open sandwiches are also available with fillings of cheddar and ale chutney or beef and horseradish and there is also the option of teryaki chicken with Chinese leaf in a wrap. Plus, delightful desserts with mouth-watering twists are next on the menu and for those with a sweet tooth, our selection includes white chocolate and pear mousse with kiwi, lime and lychee or pistachio sponge with a watermelon sorbet and compressed strawberry amongst others. For those who prefer to finish on a savoury note our cheese board is sure to satisfy you; with our chef’s selection of cheeses complete with chutney, celery, juicy grapes and crispy biscuits.

As the evening draws in you’ll find our talented chefs preparing a range of dinners from both land and sea, including popular traditional dishes such as fish and chips, smoked pork, duck or chicken and even specials such as fresh whole Dorset lobster. Our fish choice starters include hand dived scallops with cauliflower and strawberry vinegar or octopus with haricot bean, garlic and parsley dressing and for mains a crispy red mullet with sticky rice and katsu sauce or turbot with spinach, artichoke and dulse fish sauce. There is a choice of fresh meats from the grill as well as multiple choices available for vegetarians including jerusalem artichoke with truffle, pickled radish and cobnut, a goats cheese with pickled beetroot, sweet and sour squash and pomegranate molasses to start followed by a red onion tart tatin with wild mushrooms and celeriac puree or gnocchi with butternut squash, sweetcorn and sage. Your evening would not be complete without a dessert, and you’ll be sure to find something to tempt you from our evening dessert menu.

Our stunning sea view terrace is the perfect spot to dine in the sun or in the shade, and with our new stylish seating, umbrellas and outdoor heating you will be comfortable whatever the weather. Or, if you prefer to dine inside, our full length glass doors will still enable you to capture the glorious views.
