Kampung Vertikal

Kampung Vertikal The One Bedroom unit is on the 3rd floor of the building because this unit is generally occupied by young couples or residents who choose to live alone. The activities they experience tend to be more dynamic, such as daytime activities, generally the residents will be working outside of the home and indoor activities usually only in the morning and at night, this type of resident requires privacy and a good view. The Two Bedroom Unit is the unit type that dominates the Vertical Village with a total of 36 units per building and 108 units in total, this unit can accommodate a maximum of 5 family members. Generally, this unit is inhabited by families who have many daily activities at home, especially for housewives and children. A private area for parents is also needed so that they are not disturbed by children's activities. The Three to Four Bedroom Units are a combination of three moduls stacked vertically from the ground floor to the second floor of the building, having 12 total units per building with 36 units in total. This unit can accommodate a maximum of 6-7 family members, this unit requires more space to meet the privacy needs of each family member because children who have started to grow into adolescents and have more complex types of activities.

E House is a project of a young couples of entrepreneurs, they have start-up projects and most of their team members often visit the house. Located in one of the large housing estates in the Gowa area, the owner of the house bought a vacant lot next to the house with an area of 3m x 12m. With the owner's company getting bigger and bigger, the home owner decided to do house renovation. but some of the old house elements should not be removed as part of the characteristics of the local housing, such as green coated wall elements on the entrance and the house design must be approved by the housing developer.

DN

before the design was approved, there were several alternatives that I offered with separate circulation for staff outside the house so that they did not interfere with the indoor activities, but the home owner refused the idea. Most of the home owner company staffs were close friends or still part of the family , thus selecting only one circulation path for the users to go to the upper floor for the working area.

With an estimated total users of 2000 people and 60% are men and 40% are women, the calculation is: User = 2000 x 0.85 = 1700m2 60% male = 1700 x 60% = 1020 m2 40% women = 1700 x 40% = 680m2 With this estimate I can determine the size of the prayer area for men and women. The area for the men's prayer area is 1020.2 m2 and the prayer area for women is 703.8 m2, so that it meets the requirements.
