Tottenham Court Road now provides the main north - south cycle routes with Howland Street and Maple Street providing east - west connectivity. Charlotte Street is proposed to be a secondary cycle route which will have potential to activate the space and with the correct public realm design and infrastructure this will help to promote active transport for a healthier street environment.
