RESEARCH METHODS The course investigates the attitudes and psychological needs of users with a real-world case study. Using research techniques such as photo-interviews, activity mapping, surveys and interviews, Research methods course introduces procedures to collect and analyze data on human behavior leading to the Master’s Capstone Project. Design evidence collected in this project follows the literature review in the previous semester. Students examine a real-world project and gather evidence from the community in order to create an evidence-base and apply them as design guidelines in their thesis.
