As part of our commitment to promote a culture of inclusivity and belonging at our University, 500+ Panthers have been trained.
$33M FUNDRAISED
In the wake of last summer’s nationwide social justice movement and following the university’s announcement of its Equity Action Initiative, FIU Foundation has raised more than $33 million for diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives in collaboration with the Foundation Office of Inclusive Philanthropy.

MICRO-CREDENTIALING BADGES
The Division of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion has presented over 30 micro-credentialing badges through the Diversity, Equity, and Belonging for All Manager Learning Series to further professional development and education of diversity, equity, and inclusion topics among our University leaders.
40 Scholarships
The Division of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion has awarded over 40 scholarships from the Delores Auzenne Fellowship, Minority State College Transfer Scholarship, Doctoral Fellowship, and the Nova Star Juneteenth Scholarship Pageant.
6,000 SURVEY RESPONSES
With nearly 6,000 responses from the Belonging Survey, students, faculty and staff shared their feedback on the campus climate regarding diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging.

Over the past year, 6 affinity groups have already been established with an additional 3 in development.
