Fiyel Levent Paper Goods is a luxury stationery studio based in New York City, focused on creating paper pieces that are lusciously colorful, elegantly packaged and evoke the spirit of distant voyages. Born and raised in New York City, Fiyel Levent studied architecture at The Cooper Union followed by a year of reading poetry and literature at The University of Edinburgh in Scotland. She has been the recipient of various research grants and has enjoyed traveling extensively through Andalucia, the Middle East and along the Northern Silk Road with the purpose of photographing the architecture along the way. Having launched a design studio focused on lighting and interiors in 2009, this is where her love affair with paper began. It was when she began producing thank you notes for her clientele that the move to develop a stationery line seemed a very natural one. Over the last year, Fiyel Levent Paper Goods has become committed to producing beautifully designed greeting cards, note cards and fine paper artifacts. We are devoted to producing our products in the United States, and as wholehearted and proud New Yorkers, we try to work with local printers and vendors as much as possible. The vividly textured and intricate motifs are derived from a well of inspiration: from Fiyel’s travels and the architecture she has photographed, to origami paper, kimono patterns, washi and chiyogami prints, the colorful landscapes of tropical climates and paintings by some of her favorite artists such as Ruth Asawa and Agnes Martin. We are committed to printing and manufacturing all of our paper products in the United States; we use local vendors whenever possible and all of our products are assembled and packaged in-house, in our offices in Union Square, New York. Our individual counter cards come packaged in clear sleeves. Our boxed sets come packaged in clear recyclable plastic tied with hand dyed linen thread. We ask that all of our products be sold and displayed in their original packaging.
Ordering & Payment: $125 minimum for opening orders and $100 minimum for reorders. Orders may be place by phone at 718 640 5779 or email info@fiyellevent.com, Mon - Fri, 9am - 5pm. All initial orders must be paid up front. Payment can be made by check or credit card (visa, mastercard or discover). All payments and shipping costs are processed at the time of shipment and is included in your final invoice. Style Minimums: - 5 for Single Cards
- 3 for Boxed Notes - 5 for Packaged Gift Tags & Place Cards
Cancellations, Returns and Exchanges: We ask that all cancellations or changes to your order be submitted by phone or email within 24 hours of placing the order. Any changes to your order or cancellations not reported within 24 hours will be issued a restocking fee for up to 20% of the total original order. Incorrectly shipped or damaged merchandise MUST be reported by phone or email within 5 days of receiving it. All merchandise must be postmarked within 5 days of reporting and in sellable condition, in its original packaging, unused and unopen. Shipping, Lead Times and Back Orders: For domestic orders, we use UPS Ground or FedEx Ground. For International orders (including Canada) we use USPS Service Priority or UPS. Our typical turnaround time is 3-10 business days. Please email or call us to discuss time sensitive or rush orders. Fiyel Levent Paper Goods is not responsible for any delays caused by shipping vendors. All of our orders are packaged and shipped from our studio in Ridgewood Queens, New York. In the event that certain products are out of stock, you will be notified immediately. In the meantime, we will proceed with shipping all your other ordered items that are in stock. Once we have the rest of your order in stock, we ship it out immediately unless otherwise instructed.
