Travel safely with Fjord Line When travelling with Fjord Line, you can be sure to be in safe and good hands. And trust that we do our outmost to reassure that the infection control regulations are followed at all times. This demands at lot by us, but also by you as our guest.
Plenty of space and fresh air The ferries have an advantage when it comes to preventing the spread of infection, namely that we have plenty of space at our disposal and access to a sea of fresh air. Literally. We have introduced various measures on board that you will notice, but that should not cause any discomfort or inconvenience. Travelling with us should always be a pleasant experience.
OUR RESPONSIBILITIES • Ensure that the crew has the necessary knowledge about infection control. • Monitor strict compliance with the relevant regulations and guidelines at all times. • Guarantee that disinfectants are always available. • Make sure that you, our passenger, has the information you need for the duration of your journey. • Keep the ship clean and disinfect all exposed surfaces.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES ON-BOARD MEASURES • Additional focus on cleaning and a team dedicated to continuously washing all areas. • Limited number of passengers to ensure that distance requirements are observed. • Frequent disinfection of all surfaces. • Adapted food service. • A sufficient number of clearly marked sanitising stations for hand hygiene. • Protective glass screens where needed, such as in shops, at check-in, in the reception area, etc. • Clear signage, instructions and reminders regarding the rules that apply at any given time. • Additional staff for instructions and assistance to ensure the safe behaviour of travellers. • Accommodation limits in restaurants, bars and shops. • Possibility to order a day cabin to provide a retreat from public areas. • Dedicated COVID-19 guards on board to monitor infection control practices. Note: On suspicion of infection, the crew has established detailed routines in accordance with the requirements of the health authorities.
EVERYONE MUST DO THEIR PART To succeed in our fight against the coronavirus, it is important that everyone does his or her part. We have the main responsibility on board, but cannot succeed without your participation and help.

• Allow sufficient time to board to prevent queues and stressful situations that result in a disregard for infection control measures. • Check whether you have any symptoms of infection before you board the ship. • Follow all infection control rules and guidelines.

Although ‘voluntary’ by definition, this effort requires a joint commitment and that is a commitment we are more than willing to support. Welcome to Fjord FSTR! It is a tremendous pleasure for us who work onboard to finally be able to welcome you all to our brand new highspeed katamaran! We hope you are comfortable in your seat and like what you see. It took some time to get Fjord FSTR home due to the pandemic, but now we are finally here and ready to take you to Hirtshals and Kristiansand. And there is a lot to look forward to! In addition to feel the joy and freedom of travelling and meeting people again, we are also happy that summer is back. And we hope to give you the same good feeling of summer and sunshine onboard as well. Our Taxfree shop is filled with delightful summer fragrances, soothing lotions, bubbly drinks and rose wines for a hot summer day in the sun. And much more! Remember to enjoy the time onboard to the fullest even if Fjord FSTR is whizzing fast across the Skagerak. We have both a Bistro, Cafe and a coffee shop. In front of the ship you will find a very comfortable lounge. For 149 DKK you will get your own reserved seat during the entire crossing, beautiful seaview and free access to small and delicous dishes, cold and warm drinks. Ship O'hoi and hold on to your hat! Just enjoy!

You can get it in our Food market which i located in the Taxfree Shop. This makes it even easier for you to have your feast ready in no time! You need: A box from our shop! How to do it: The confit de canard is a thigh seasoned and cooked in duck fat. It's ready to go, all you have to do is frying it in a pan to get a crispy skin. Remove the fat. Place the duck on a baking tray with the skin facing up-use baking paper underneath. Bake for 20 minutes on a 180ºC until the skin is crispy. Serve with a nice citrus salad and mashed potatoes.
