A LETTER FROM THE PRESIDENT Dear friends, We have so much to be grateful for this past year. Personally, I feel immense gratitude toward my colleagues and associates who have welcomed me to the Flagler Family with open hearts and open minds. I am especially humbled by the many donors like you who have shown their support for our mission here at Flagler College. We would be unable to make the Flagler experience the unique, student-focused one that it is without your help. While we’re always looking at the big picture, sometimes, it’s the smallest things that have the greatest impact on the lives of our students. Such is the case with the Alumni House and Tinlin House. For the first time in 50 years, our alumni now have a space on campus to call their own. Not only is this a physical location in which they can relax and reconnect, it’s also a center for services and community. From career support to book discussions, our Alumni House is a place for all Saints to gather. To the Alumni Board and the donors of this project, we are thankful for your vision, determination and support.

The Tinlin House has also transformed our campus by providing additional space for counseling services and youth ministry. While two distinct spaces and programs, they both exist to serve our students and provide supportive services. Specifically, our counseling office is now able to offer group sessions to our students on topics such as mindfulness, grief and self-esteem. This format provides our students with additional resources and helps them develop a sense of community. These are just two examples of the immediate effect your giving has on our students and our campus. As we celebrate our 50th anniversary we will continue to identify programs that will make the most impact on student lives. Your gift today will be felt for many years to come as our students become engaged citizens and future leaders. I am grateful for your involvement with Flagler and I am honored to serve our students.
