Happy Juneteenth

Freedom, equality and the pursuit of happiness, a promise that has challenged us throughout our history as a nation. On June 19, Juneteenth, we honor the day in 1865 when enslaved African Americans in Galveston, Texas were informed of their emancipation from slavery.
