our story

Flamant’s history started more than forty years ago. Alex Flamant discovered his love for interiors in his father’s antiques shop, where he came up with the idea of a lifestyle concept, inspired on classic interiors adapted to modern needs.

His keen eye for artisan techniques and high-quality materials helped him in his global search for the right partners.

In 2007, Flamant was crowned purveyor to the Belgian Royal Household. A wonderful recognition of the quality, craftsmanship and design of our collections.

In May 2018 Flamant is acquired by the BESIX Group, (& PLLC Bevafin) the largest Belgian Group and a global player, operating in the construction, concessions and property development sectors with over 100 years’ experience and a workforce of more than 15.000.

Next to the important financial support of a strong mothercompany, its business network and housing projects lead to numerous large-scale interior projects.
