THE FINAL RESTORATION Restoring the Temple of YAH

T

he children of Yisra’el have to return to their proper place – firmly rooted in the heart of YAH! Our bodies must be returned to their original state – being eternal temples of His SetApart Spirit. So shall we truly dwell in the presence of Abba YAHUAH!

After the seventh New Moon, Yom Teruah, the only Annual New Moon Sabbath of the Hebrew year, Yisra’el prepares to mark Sukkoth (Tabernacles). It is described in Scripture as a time of gladness, a time of blowing trumpets—very festive celebrations of the nation of YAH. Let us reflect on the events that transpired in Nehemiah 8 and 9. This is a profound message from YAH. After the people of Yisra’el were returned to their restored land, Eretz Yisrael, they started to re-learn the TORAH (Laws of YAH). Nehemiah’s role was to see to it that the walls of Yerushalayim were rebuilt, signaling a separation of the Set-apart City and its total restoration to YAH, who provides safety and security to those who love Him. When the walls are built, the enclosure is done!

A WORD FROM YAHUSHUAH

Psa 119:1 Blessed are the perfect in the way, who walk in the Torah of ‫!יהוה‬

Mat 5:48 “Therefore, be perfect,1 as your Father in the heavens is perfect.

1Ch 4:10 And Yabĕts called on the Elohim of Yisra’ĕl saying, “Oh, that You would bless me indeed, and enlarge my border, and that Your hand would be with me, and that You would keep me from evil...” And Elohim gave him what he asked.

In this text, Yahushuah is speaking to his followers and giving them a profound understanding of what it means to be like Yah! The message was about LOVE, loving not just those who love you, but loving those who hate you as well. In this, we show to the world the mercy of Yahuah, in that He does not entirely withhold blessings from sinners. Verse 45 says, “He makes His sun rise on the

wicked and on the good, and sends rain on the righteous and on the unrighteous.” So Yah sends blessings even on those who do not love Him. Those who have the Spirit of Yah will do the same. In Genesis 17:1, Yah calls Abram to be perfect. Yohanan says he who guards His Word has the love of Yah perfected in him. Shaul admonishes: “...let us go on to perfection…”

Footnote: 1Gen. 17:1, Ps. 119:1, 1 John 2:5,

The Names of the Father and the Son Pro 30:4 Who has gone up to the heavens and come down? Who has gathered the wind in His fists? Who has bound the waters in a garment? Who established all the ends of the earth? What is His Name, And His Son’s Name, If you know it? In this publication, we use Hebrew names for the Creator and His Son: YAHUAH—The Father (Short form YAH) YAHUSHUAH—The Son Having been taught the truth by Yah, we completely dispense the falsehoods we used to cling to. We come on no other Name but the ones ordained and established before the creation of man. Neither does man have any authority to dispense with them. Hebrew texts are also used, as applied below. Let YAH instruct us and lead us into all truth.

PRIESTLY BLESSING FOR YISRA’EL

Revelation 22:4 “...His Name shall be upon their foreheads.” The Father’s Name is in all those who believe on Him! He instructed a blessing for His Nation as follows: Num 6:23 “Speak to Aharon and his sons, saying, ‘This is how you bless the children of Yisra’ĕl. Say to them: Num 6:24 “ ‫ יהוה‬bless you and guard you; Num 6:25 ‫ יהוה‬make His face shine upon you, and show favour to you; Num 6:26 ‫ יהוה‬lift up His face upon you, and give you peace.” ’ Num 6:27 “Thus they shall put My Name on the children of Yisra’ĕl, and I Myself shall bless them.”

Koshering meats! CLEAN BUT NOT KOSHER? Photos: http://www.koshermeatstore.com/

T

ORAH observant believers—those who hold that the Laws of YAH as given to Moshe (Moses) are still in effect—know the distinction between clean and unclean meats; however, there is another rule we need to be mindful of even in preparing meats classified as CLEAN and thus permitted to eat. Chicken, for example, has blood in it and will be tainted if not properly cleaned before cooking. Chicken may drain blood while being cooked if the blood is not removed first, and believe me, it is a nasty sight! I remember hearing a long time ago that the “Jews” brine their meat to extract the blood. It was something I ignored, not believing that the meats I had been eating were really tainted. Like most who adhere to Christianity and its tenets of “freedom” FROM the TORAH, I completely ignored this. Most recently, I have found myself limiting my meats to boneless chicken breast and cutting back on eating meats altogether. However, yesterday, I found that the flesh of a batch of breasts I had bought had spots of blood in it and I found myself cutting away much of the flesh, not wanting to transgress by eating the blood. I have been reviewing procedures on-line for removing blood from meats, and I share them with you here. Perhaps they may be of use to you!

YAHUAH tells NOAH, when he expanded diet to include meats: Gen 9:4 “But flesh with the life thereof, which is the blood thereof, shall ye not eat.” YAHUAH instructs all Yisra’el: Lev 7:26: “Moreover ye shall eat no manner of blood, whether it be of fowl or of beast, in any of your dwellings.” THE LEADERS OF THE ASSEMBLY OF MESSIANIC BELIEVERS say in Act 15:20 “...abstain from pollutions of idols, and from fornication, and from things strangled, and from blood.”

It is important to follow each step in the process carefully, bearing in mind the various time factors. The koshering process requires one's undivided attention, so distractions should be eliminated as much as possible. If any questions or problems arise along the way, do not hesitate to seek [YAHUAH’S] guidance. Step 1 - Preliminary Washing: The meat must be washed very well to remove all visible blood. All blood clots or discolorations, (black, dark, red, etc.) should be cut out before washing. Step 2 - Soaking: The meat should be immersed in room temperature water for at least ½ hour. If the meat was accidentally left soaking for 24 consecutive hours, this meat becomes nonkosher and cannot be used. [The blood becomes infused in the flesh] After the meat has been soaked, it may be cut into smaller pieces if desired. It then would be necessary to rinse each cut piece very well, especially the newly cut ends. The meat does not have to be soaked again. Step 3- Salting: Before salting, the meat must be washed off. (One may use the same water in which it was soaked.) Then, inspect the meat to be sure that there is no visible blood. Shake off excess water and allow the meat to sit for a short period of time so that the salt does not dissolve too easily. However, the meat should remain damp enough for the salt to stick to it. Koshering meats!

Salt the meat thoroughly on all sides, but not so thickly that the blood would be prevented from flowing out. The salted meat should remain on the board for a minimum of one hour. If it remaines in salt for twelve hours or more, this may render it un-kosher. Consult a qualified rabbi.

Lev 23:24 “Speak to the children of Yisra’ĕl, saying, ‘In the seventh month, on the first day of the month, you have a rest, a remembrance of blowing of trumpets, a set-apart gathering. Lev 23:25 ‘You do no servile work, and you shall bring an offering made by fire to .‫” ’יהוה‬ Lev 23:26 And ‫יהוה‬ spoke to Mosheh, saying, Lev 23:27 “On the tenth day of this seventh Photo: http://www.themajlis.org month is the Day of Atonement. It shall be a set-apart gathering for you. And you shall afflict your beings, and shall bring an offering made by fire to .‫יהוה‬ Lev 23:28 “And you do no work on that same day, for it is the Day of Atonement, to make atonement for you before ‫יהוה‬your Elohim. Lev 23:29 “For any being who is not afflicted on that same day, he shall be cut off from his people. Lev 23:30 “And any being who does any work on that same day, that being I shall destroy from the midst of his people. Lev 23:31 “You do no work – a law forever throughout your generations in all your dwellings. Lev 23:32 ‘It is a Sabbath of rest to you, and you shall afflict your beings. On the ninth day of the month at evening, from evening to evening, you observe your Sabbath.” Lev 23:33 And ‫יהוה‬spoke to Mosheh, saying, Lev 23:34 “Speak to the children of Yisra’ĕl, saying, ‘On the fifteenth day of this seventh month is the Festival of Booths for seven days to .‫יהוה‬ Lev 23:35 ‘On the first day is a set-apart gathering, you do no servile work. Lev 23:36 ‘For seven days you bring an offering made by fire to .‫יהוה‬On the eighth day there shall be a set-apart gathering for you, and you shall bring an offering made by fire to .‫יהוה‬It is a closing festival, you do no servile work.

If a piece of meat falls off the board (while the salt was still on), it should be returned immediately, preferably to a separate board. It must be kept apart from the rest of the meat throughout the remaining process, and rabbinic guidance is necessary. Bones are koshered just like meat and together with the rest of the meat. However, if the bones have no meat on them, they should be kept on top or on the side of the board during the koshering process so that no blood from the other pieces of meat reaches them. In placing the salted pieces of meat on the salting board, one should be sure that nothing blocks or interferes with the free draining of the blood, since this would defeat the whole purpose of salting. If there is insufficient room on the board, the pieces may be placed on top of each other, as long as there is no place for blood to collect. Since the blood content varies according to the type of meat (e.g., chicken contains less blood than beef), consult a qualified rabbi as to how to place the meat on the board when koshering different types of meat simultaneously. Step 4 - Triple Rinsing: After the meat has lain in salt the required period of time, rinse it well. Rub off and remove the salt from all sides. This is done three separate times. The first time, the meat should be rinsed under running water, and rubbed while under the water. Turn it constantly so that all sides come into contact with the water. The second and third times, the meat may either be rinsed again under running water, or soaked in a clean basin of fresh water. The basin must be rinsed out separately each time, and fresh water used for both the second and third rinsing. If using a basin, pour the water into it before placing the meat in it. The meat is now ready for use in the kosher kitchen. SOURCE:

YAHUAH— Our deliverer ...from Page 1

The first place in Scripture where I find this deliverance specifically cited, according to my search of the text using e-Sword software is Genesis 49:18. It reads: “I have waited for

H3444

thy salvation,H3444 O YAHUAH.” Note that this is Yisra’el speaking, in the blessing of his sons before his death in Mitsrayim. Ya’acob knows he will soon die, but he dies understanding the power of YAHUAH’s promise — that he could believe on the deliverance YAHUAH will bring from death through His Son YAHUSHUAH! Indeed, Yisra’el’s statement and the timing of it is absolutely profound!

This appears to be a beautiful segue into the other uses of the Hebrew characters found here. The word used in the Genesis text quoted before is #3444— —

‫ישׁוּעה‬

—yeshû’âh, yesh-oo'-aw

“Feminine passive participle of H3467; something saved, that is, (abstractly) deliverance; hence aid, victory, prosperity: - deliverance, health, help (-ing), salvation, save, saving (health), welfare.” The shin -uau-ayin (shua), as in 7779/7774 are in this much used word as well. This is where, for me, the word study gets absolutely interesting. The word “Yasha” (as in the name of Isiah or YeshaYahu) refers broadly to saving or deliverance, but the range of what one can be saved from or delivered from is limitless! This is how WE who believe in YAH have experienced Him… And it goes without saying, that He is our riches and prosperity as well! H3467—

‫ישׁע‬

yâsha‛, yaw-shah'

“Shua” also refers to wealth, according to some accounts, and I find this verified in Scripture. If you have access to a Strong’s Concordance or Hebrew Lexicon, you can search this out for yourself. I always encourage personal study, because this is how YAH gives us what we each need for the journey to truth.

“A primitive root; properly to be open, wide or free, that is, (by implication) to be safe; causatively to free or succor: - X at all, avenging, defend, deliver (-er), help, preserve, rescue, be safe, bring (having) salvation, save (-iour), get victory.”

My count in the concordance says 43 times this form of ‘shua’ is used (#7768 to #7778) in Scripture. Twice it is used in the names of women in 1 Chronicles: one is a Canaanite; the other is an

Note here the use of YA where the yod (y) appears. Whereas in other places it says “Ye”. “Ye” to denote deliverance by either man or The Creator! However, we recognize YAH as the ultimate deliverer, even though He chooses to use man as an instrument.

Israelite, Shua or Shuah. —‫שׁוּע‬ I find it interesting that apart from referring to wealth and prosperity, it also refers to a call for help—a cry.

‫ שׁוע‬shâva‛, shawGo back, then, to H7768 vah'. “A primitive root; properly to be free; but used only causatively and reflexively to halloo (for help, that is, freedom from some trouble): - cry (aloud, out), shout.

THE RESTORATION

Page 6

...from Page 1 It was a time of UNITY! It is written that the people gathered “together as one man” before the Water Gate! On Yom Teruah, the first day of the seventh month, Ezra, scribe and priest, read the law to the people for days and they studied its requirements. The Lewites instructed the people in the Law. On the 10th of the month is the Day of Atonement (Yom Kippur). When the remnant of Yisra’el saw that they were living very sinful lives far from what YAH had intended, they were overcome with sadness. They mourned and wept. They were instantly comforted with the admonition that, “The Joy of YAHUAH is your strength!” They found written in the TORAH where they should dwell in booths (they had not gathered branches and built booths since the day of Yahushua (the son of Nun). The people, therefore, made the booths on their roofs and sat under them from the first day until the end of the festival. Moshe had commanded that in the Year of Release, at Sukkoth, the people should read the TORAH, so that the people “...hear it and learn to fear YAHUAH your Elohim as long as you live in the land you are crossing the Jordan to possess.” After the people re-learned the law, the first act of reconciliation they

Readers should understand that the words and their derivatives are used HUNDREDS of times in Scripture, and we should do our own search to understand the context of each, so that rather than being bound up in the letters of the Name—which I also believe are important—we can go to the next level and understand The Spirit of the Name YAHUAH and His Only Brought-forth Son YAHUSHUAH! To confirm what YAH had been showing me about the full length, breadth and height of His Name, I found in the KJV at 1 Chron. 7:27, the name Jehoshuah! #3091 in Strong’s shows two spellings for the name of Joshua, which is a truncated English form and the name for which Jesus was substituted: In the Hebrew texts say note the uau (u) between the shin (sh) and ayin:

#8668 is the word teshuah—also using the word to denote the deliverance of YAH. Here is what I found to be the first application: Judges 15:18 And he was sore athirst, and called on the YAHUAH, and said, Thou hast given this great deliveranceH8668 into the hand of thy servant: and now shall I die for thirst, and fall into the hand of the uncircumcised? Here, YAHUAH delivers from death by providing the NEED of His servant! It is a powerful reminder of all that He does for US! HalleluYAH!

make is to set themselves apart from those who were not Yisra’el. On the 24th day, they SEPARATED THEMSELVES from the strangers and confessed their sins and the iniquity of their fathers. Looking forward to the New Yerushalayim, the Heavenly City, we see that the pure golden walls are decorated with precious stones: Revelation 21: 18-20, says “The wall was made of jasper, and the city of pure gold, as pure as glass. The foundations of the city walls were decorated with every kind of precious stone. The first foundation was jasper, the second sapphire, the third chalcedony, the fourth emerald, the fifth sardonyx, the sixth carnelian, the seventh chrysolite, the eighth beryl, the ninth topaz, the tenth chrysoprase, the eleventh jacinth, and the twelfth amethyst.” At the end of this age, the climax of Sukkoth will be experienced, our close spiritual and physical relationship with YAH restored: “And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, ‘Now the dwelling of Elohim is with men, and He will live with them. They will be His people, and Elohim Himself will be with them and be their Elohim.’”

‫ה‬

Both #3444 and 8668 show a at the end of the words referring to salvation and deliverance.

the other does not) In the name YAHUSHUAH we find the Name YAHUAH, and it calls to mind all that YAH does to deliver those who call upon His Name, as written in Joel 2:32. Exo 23:21 “Be on guard before Him and obey His voice. Do not rebel against Him, for He is not going to pardon your transgression, for My Name is in Him.

Again, I reiterate, it is also the Spirit of the Name and not merely the letters or the nuances of sounds. Let not the enemy snatch the power of His Name from us by causing us to lose sight of ALL that it means to our lives and our very existence!

Passionate Poetry with a Spiritual Twist It was marriage on the verge of collapse that fired up Shelly D. Wright to begin his journey to writing poetry. It was a means of venting and releasing the pain. “The first poem I wrote had two guys on my job crying. I then knew I had something,” said Shelly. “I describe it as Passionate Penned Pieces with a Spiritual Twist. “All I am is a conduit where Yah releases His messages through me.” On his best days, Shelly writes 4 to 6 poems. “I don't remember the titles nor what I wrote. I have to go back over them to see what was written,” he says. “I have written about 766 poems since 2006— in the tub or on the phone or just in conversation,” he

reveals. “My titles are given to me and the poems come at anytime. When the messages stop, I rest because when they come I know that Yah has a Word to share with someone. I've heard many times, ‘How did you know I needed that?’ or ‘You wrote it like you knew what was going on in my life,’ or ‘You wrote that poem for me.’”
