I WOULD KILL FOR YOU: A STUDY IN MATERNAL FEROCITY Largely a focus on portraits of my two youngest children, this work began as an emotional theory-study into my mothering/ protection tendencies. After an experience with online predators, an important part of this project has become the moving of these photographs across an ocean and offline into a safe physical space. I am currently working on the second phase, removing the digital element completely and printing photos myself with my own hands.

PERSONAL PHOTO DIARY From March 2012-May 2013, I documented my daily life and 'making' process in a public (often confessional) online photo diary. With unadulterated sentimentality and dark comedy, I shared a mix of family snapshots, portraiture, commercial, exhibition, and editorial work. What began as an exercise in intentional creative living (to document the mundane, everyday routine of an artist/ mother-of-five), evolved into the development of a wider photographic art practice.
