HISTORY In the year 1993 Eurotruss started the production of aluminium truss systems. In 1993 Eurotruss successfully opened the first conical spigot connection which ultimately has proven to be an important innovation in the truss market. After the introduction of this new connection system in 1993 Eurotruss has established a modern production facility in machinery, premises and remained the highest quality level in terms of products as well as high performance of the organization. During the last decade we have established an extensive and well trained dealer network of worldwide dealers. In 2008 Eurotruss opened succesfully a sales office in Dubai, UAE, which handles all sales and deliveries in the Middle East. A well motivated and trained team, a big stock of all popular truss types and a 24/7 mentality is the key to be the right partner for all truss users in the Middle East.
In 2010 Eurotruss aquired the brand Slick which operates independantly and with the access of the expertise of fork connection, Eurotruss extended its product range with 4 types of Fork End Truss Systems and a Ground Support Tower System. WHICH TRUSS FOR WHICH PURPOSE ?
HD OR FD TRUSS?
This overview categorizes all the various truss series from high load bearing capacity truss to small compact triangle deco truss. Each truss series has its own specifications and purpose.
As HD Truss has the same connection as FD Truss, it could be mixed although the load bearing capacities are different.
In general we list three major Truss Series, Pre Rig Truss, Heavy Truss and HD / FD Truss. Naturally Eurotruss carries a broad range of circles, accessories and towers which you will find in this catalogue.
In order to recognize the HD Truss an extra RING is being milled in the female receiver. * If you mix FD and HD truss than you should always work * with the loading charts of the FD truss.
THE ORIGINAL
TUV APPROVAL Eurotruss Aluminium Truss Series have the TuV Approval (Bau-Art Prufung). All given loading charts are fully approved by the TuV and all truss series are made according the DIN EN 1999-1-1 & 1999 -1-1/A2 within Eurocode 9 specifications.
LABELLING
As labels can be removed Eurotruss has an unique mark to give the users the proof that they work with an original Eurotruss. At the end of the femal receiver a ring with the text ÂťEurotruss Model Protection plus numberÂŤ is engraved. Always check for its original mark and make sure that you only work with an AUTHENTIC Eurotruss.
Each trussing manufacturer should take responsibility for its responsibility and its duty to inform the user about the characteristics of that specific product. Eurotruss has always used labels which contain all the information necessary. Each product range has its own label and can be distinguished by its colour. The label of the Pre Rig Truss Range is gold, of the Heavy Truss black and of the HD/FD Series blue.

HD3X:
An upgrade of the FD3x by using a 3mm wall thickness which results in a higher load bearing capacity and durability.
FD3X: With the FD32 (ladder), FD33 (triangular) and FD34 (square) this system is the most used truss in our programm. Up to middle long spans the solution for exhibition stands and small roofs.
TOWER TRUSS TD50 TOWER TRUSS: TD44 TOWER TRUSS: TD35 TOWER TRUSS: HD/FD34 TOWER TRUSS: The TD50 Tower Truss is the new Tower for MT and TT Main Rigs. The Tower Mast sections are rigid and have additional one side horizontal brace for climbing.

MT RECTANGULAR TRUSS The MT Truss lends itself to use as beding resistant spans at a free span of 60m with gigantic load bearing capacity. On a free span of 28m the MT has the impressive result of 7.224kg.
The 120x5mm guarantees extreme durability and reduction of users damage. The MT is a real Monster Pre Rig Truss and a rigger`s delight. Trussing of this size need well designed balance of alloy, dimensions and welding procedure. The long braces are made of 60mm as a bigger diameter is necessary to avoid the risk of bending.

TT RECTANGULAR TRUSS TThe TT Truss lends itself to use as bending resistance spans at a free span of 44m with extreme load bearing capacity.

Due to its special shape and dimensions the TT Truss exhibits a great rigidity and can thus be used for long spans with high loadings. The 60x5mm tube reduces transportation damage and guarantees extreme durability. Trussing with a big profile geometry have long braces which have a risk of bending. The TT Truss is the main truss type for the main rig in the biggest Saddle Roofs (SR-50) and the Pitch Roofs (PR-10). The TT Truss is despite its dimensions and self weight a very easy truss system to handle. The TT Truss can be equipped optional with the heavy duty blue wheels.

With usage of the standard corners and accessories everything in one level, horizontally can be build and all horizontal structures can be build on legs. Eurotruss developed next to the standard structures three various »roof« structures - Type R (saddle roof), CR (arc roof) and SR (saddle roof with horizontal bridge »not shown«).
Saddle Roof HD/FD31-R
The complexity of the system is the positioning of the pins. Eurotruss has solved this matter by using all pins horizontally in one level and all down attachments have a diagonal pin. In the »roof« corners the pin position has been chosen in such a way that the pin will not interfere with covering fabric. All corners in the »roof« area have horizontal pin positioning and the legs diagonal pin positioning. The slope of the saddle »roof« is minimum 20 degree which Eurotruss has adapted as standard slope (higher degree slope is »custom made«, less slope is not possible) The smallest tube length in straight is 20cm, everything required less in length can be solved with spacers. Eurotruss has developed two standard base plates using screw on half connectors to be flexible with pin positioning. The standard base plate is an aluminium plate 250x250mm for HD/FD31 only and a heavy duty plate of galvanized steel 600x600mm with pre-drilled holes for HD/FD44 - HD/FD34 and HD/FD31 usage (due to its size and weight, one side handle is standard). Both base plates are 8mm thick. Always guaranteed usage of standard CS1 (FD/HD) Connection System.

CWT CATWALK TRUSS New is the Eurotruss CWT Truss, originally designed as a Catwalk Truss but redesigned to a MULTI VERSATILE HEAVY LOAD CATWALK TRUSS. CWT Truss is the most innovative and versatile structure which can be used as a catwalk truss with aluminium inlay and as two heavy duty pre rig trussing as the truss can be used in flat and/or upright position. By using a combo connection you can build it with a conical connector and or gable connector. The gable connector is turnable so it can be used horizontally and vertically (to make round shapes) The truss can be ordered with a wagon (dolly wagon) which can be placed on top or under the truss. The truss is integrated with fixed welded receivers in order to fix the wagon on top (rigging position) or under the truss (in dolly position). If the wagon is placed under the truss you can leave your lighting features attached and store or transport the Catwalk truss as it is turned into an integrated dolly. The CWT Truss is equipped with a square tube on the 800mm side and carries various holes to attach and fix the couplers for the lighting features.

RTS TRUSS RTS Truss is the new versatile truss structure which can be used to carry moving heads. No more flight cases and truss in your storage nor in your truck. It saves not only trucking space but also guarantees less set up time and labour. The RTS has a open bottom and can be used as pre rig truss for automated lighting features as moving heads. The truss wagon has been designed to swing (fold) up and keep a minimum of height loss. That means with a wagon height of 680mm, by swinging (folding) it up you create a minimum extra height of 229mm on top of the pre rig truss. This is a not only a bonus at show time but also if you store or transport the RTS Trusses empty. At alternative Truss Systems the wagons are separate which creates an extra storage problem or stacked in full height and that means you loose an additional 680mm on top of the self height of the truss structure. THE TRUSS WAGON
The RTS Truss wagon is designed for severe transport and can take rough rides. The RTS Truss has additional receivers on top and on the bottom of the truss structure for stacking two RTS Trusses on top of each other. It can be stacked and pinned for safety while loading and unloading. The RTS Truss wagon is equipped with 4 pcs of 100mm castors and the side bars are positioned low enough to hide and protect the lens of the moving head. In case a light designer wants the castors to be taken off, this is possible as the castors are double plated and can be unscrewed and removed. The RTS Truss with its economic dimension 400mm height and 800mm width enables each 800mm to fix a moving head and can have a safe free span of 18 mtrs.

CIRCLES AND CURVED TRUSSES Eurotruss manufactures circles and curved trusses. These curved trusses are made with full accuracy which guarantees a perfect fitting. All curved parts are made with special tools ensuring that all parts are identical. Every curved segment of a circle is fully interchangeable. Eurotruss offers a broad range of circles and curved trusses from FD33 till ST Series in various diameters and degrees. The number of curved parts is depending on the maximum length of each segment. The maximum length per segment may not exceed 5,5m. Eurotruss advises the purchase of an even number of parts (2, 4 or 8 parts) in order to obtain full flexibility and exchangeability with standard lengths and corner elements.

CONNECTORS AND PINS All Eurotruss connectors are made accordingly the highest quality standard. Eurotruss only uses the aluminium quality EN AW-6082 T6 for the connectors.
All Eurotruss connectors are engraved with the Eurotruss logo and name to check the originality. The Truss Pin is made of high tensile steel, 42 CrMo 4, which prevents deformation and can absorb higher loadings.
In various designs and constructions like Ground Supports, spacers are required. Spacer get the matching size without compromising the usage of standard elements.

HINGE CONNECTIONS The hinge sets, mainly used as hinges in towers, are also usable to make various shapes with standard lengths. With pre-fixed distance bars you can make 90 dgr., 120 dgr. and 135 dgr. corners. See the example above for more details. The hinge sets are available for HD/FD and for ST System.

The Totem is a round steel base plate with a diameter of 99cm with easy handles and pre-drilled holes for all HD/FD Truss Series. The totem is strong, elegant and the perfect plate for stand alone beams. The totem can also be used to mount a moving head (any brand) on a top plate.
In order to secure the moving head, it is adviseable to use a special adapter plate including a spacer set with locking device to fixate the moving head. Not only is the adapter plate the right tool for fast and safe fixation of your moving head, it can also absorb the heat generated by the moving head without deforming.

The adapter plates are available in two sizes and equipped with pre-drilled holes to match all moving heads. Eurotruss supplies prefixed bold on twist joints which can be used as a T-connection. The sizes do match with standard T-joints in standard rigs and ground supported rigs. Tower Overview Overview of Eurotruss´ Tower Systems
EUROTRUSS TOWER Eurotruss has developed a range of various Tower Systems all based on standard truss series. A tower system is a vertical truss with a movable sleeve block for the connection of horizontal beams (rig) with a head section (top part) for electrical / manual chain hoists, on most of the occasions a this involves a basement and a hinge system for erecting the tower. The big advantage of towers are the movable sleeve blocks which allows you to mount all cables, lighting features etc on the ground and then lift all up by electrical and / or manual chain hoists. This saves a lot of time and assures safe working circumstances. When the complete rig has been lifted in position, the rig can be secured by mounting a safety between the top section and the sleeve block. All tower elements are well designed and composed to offer maximum flexibility, strength and versatility when using the towers in bridges, ground supported systems and complex outdoor structures like roof systems. These ground supported towers are available in four types, the HD/FD34 Tower to be used in combination with the HF/FD and XD Series, the TD35 Tower to be used in combination with ST Series, the TD44 Tower and the TD50 Tower to be used in combination with MT, XT, TT and FT100 Series. A very high demand nowadays is for a single span (Bridge) on two towers to support a LED Screen. A LED Screen has not only a huge self weight but creates also a closed surface which causes big wind forces. Hanging a LED Screen on a single span needs to be recognized as a complex structure to avoid dangerous hazards.
GS-Towers Overview
For this reason Eurotruss developed two standard LED Bridges to offer a full safe, engineered system. The LED Bridges are available in TD35 Towers with ST Truss for Screens from 12m2 till 24m2 up to a height of 7,5m and also for the bigger screens from 28m2 till 54m2 with a height of 10m the TD44 Tower with TT Truss.

As with the Eurotruss Tower range, the towers can be used up to 20m height. At this height it is no longer safe and possible to erect the tower by manual force. For this Eurotruss developed the Tower Erecting System which is a simple, fast and easy tool to erect the tower. Next to the Ground Support Towers Eurotruss offer the stand alone Sound Towers. The Sound Towers are all based on a V-shaped basement in order to have an angled mast to hang the PA cluster in the right position. The Sound Towers are available in three types from 700kg till 1.200kg centre point load and a height of 7,5m till 13m.

GROUND SUPPORT TOWERS The newly developed TD Tower Truss Series (Mast Sections) are based on the standard truss lengths but with a ladder brace on one side for safe climbing and with thicker tube walls for enhanced vertical load capacity. The TD Tower Truss can also be used as horizontal beams which give the TD Series a more flexible character which fits perfectly in the Eurotruss Range and its Philosophy.
The TD44 Tower with a maximum height of 16m with a load capacity of 3.000kg and the TD35 Tower with a maximum height of 14m with a load capacity of 2.000kg .
In the TD Tower Series the following three Tower Systems are available; The TD50 Tower with a maximum height of 20m and a load capacity of 8.000kg.

TOWER ERECTING SYSTEM The Eurotruss Tower Erecting System is developed as an additional tower product for the erection of the TD-Tower masts. It is a portable system that can be put up fast and safe. For each System a different Tower Erecting System can erect masts up to various heights. The Tower Erecting System is constructed as a main frame and several loose tubes to be connected as a triangular shaped construction. The Tower Erecting System is placed on the sleeve block and on the truss which is fixed with the help of ratchet straps. The main frame has a pulley at the top, through which the chain of the hoist is guided. By attaching the hoist to the base section and the hook of the chain to the mast the tower can be erected easily. In general the Tower Erecting System is very easy to mount and demount: Including erecting a tower it takes 20 minutes per tower. For each Tower Erecting System one rigging hoist (1 Ton) and two sets of ratchet straps are necessary. LED BRIDGE More and more LED Screens are being used in all kind of events. Not only LED Screens are being used at concerts nowadays but at all kind of events and promotional activities. LED Screens have a huge self weight hung on a few point loads and have a large closed surface. In the outdoor venues due to huge wind forces and multi point loads it is extremely important to choose the right system which can facilitate these forces. HD/FD34 TOWER The ground support tower HD/FD34 makes for an excellent vertical truss that allows the safe, quick lifting of regularly loaded horizontal truss constructions (riggs) and small to medium-sized platform roofs to their service height. The straight elements of the tower consist of HD/FD34 Standard Truss, allowing a variety of combinations. In terms of statics, ground support towers, indoor applications, are exposed to negligible flexural strain but primarily to pressure strain. In outdoor use, on the other hand, the tower is exposed to very high flexural strain due to the coverings or roof.

WHICH TRUSS FOR WHICH PURPOSE ? This overview categorizes all the various Fork End truss series all well known for their rigidity and high load bearing capacity. Each truss series has its own unique specifications and purpose but all with the same fork connection system. In the range of the Fork End truss systems we list two major Series, Maxi and Heavy Truss. Naturally Eurotruss carries a range of circles (<not shown>) and accessories which you will find in this catalogue.
TUV APPROVAL Eurotruss Aluminium Fork End Truss Series have also the TuV Approval (Bau Art Prufung). All given load charts are fully approved by the TuV and all truss series are made according the DIN EN 1999-1-1 & 1999 -1-1/A2 within Eurocode 9 specifications.

LABELLING Each trussing manufacturer should take responsibility for its responsibility and its duty to inform the user about the characteristics of that specific product. Eurotruss has always used labels which contain all the information necessary. Each product range has its own label and can bedistinguished by its colour. The label of the Fork End Truss Systems is Red.
THE ORIGINAL As the Eurotruss Fork End Truss Systems are being manufactured under license of and according the specifications of Slick, the MBX, NV, GS and MB Trussing is to be regarded as the original. New is the fact that Eurotruss have upgraded the Eurotruss Fork End Trussing System by welded slots in stead of the roll pins which will make the truss not only stronger but by replacing the spring roll also safer and less to worry about. The Steel Base on wheels is available with short and or long outriggers in combination with stabilizers. The base is equipped with fork male/female receivers to build the GS Mast Sections.

Introduction Roof Systems
INTRODUCTION OF ROOF SYSTEMS Eurotruss designed its total roof range in order to meet the market standards in terms of size, load bearing capacity, truss system, modularity and flexibility. The Eurotruss Roof System is a temporarily mobile structure to cover a stage and provide the possibility of hanging numbers of light features, PA, Led Screens and other features required to make a spectacular show under any given circumstance. Eurotruss categorize its roof systems to the Eurotruss Truss Types and required stage sizes. Eurotruss considers during design the safety, the environmental circumstances and the required load bearing capacity. Each Eurotruss roof is calculated and made according to the new European Norm (standards and regulations) EN-13814 and also covers the standards of the DIN 4112 Temporarily Structures. From mid 2014 each temporarily structure is obliged to comply to the new EN-13814 norm and is the DIN 4112 no longer valid. Each roof must have a manual and a structural report in order to comply to the regulations and to be safe. The broad and long experience has resulted in a perfectly matched range of Roof Systems.
A Eurotruss Roof is designed under the following restrictions: The roof design should contain a reasonable number of standard truss types. Building on from an existing Eurotruss Ground Support System. Relative high loading figures for each size and type of roof. Each Eurotruss roof should apply to all safety regulations worldwide.

AR-30 MEGA ARC TT ROOF The AR30 Roof is a Tower based Structure constructed of 5 Arches on eight (six) TD44 Towers. The Arches are made of standard straight truss sections with hinges and have a keder profile on top to fit the canopy. The AR30 Roof is a tower based structure with 5 arches. The arched roof structure consist of standard TT truss sections with hinges and spreader plates and supported with spreader truss which gives stability and massive strength and huge multi point loads. The Arches are attached by a hinged connection at the outer ends to standard a TD44 Tower or optional a TD50 Tower. The arched truss have a keder profile on top to fit the canopy. The AR30 is designed and set up in such a way which makes it possible to build the roof in various configurations as size of the keder profiles match the TT truss sections. The AR30 Mega Roofs are designed to be set up on ballast base with compression beams or with integrated bases in any kind of steel scaffolding stage.

AR-10 BASIC ARC HD/FD ROOF The AR10 Roof is a fixed Leg Structure constructed of four triangular truss Arches. The AR10 Arc Roof is a fix leg based structure with four (three) arches with in between clamped support tubes . The arched roof structure consist of standard HD/FD34 mast truss sections on special small bases with integrated jacks and a few special corners to fit the triangular HD33 arches. Between the arches standard hook on bars are required for extra stability and to support the canopy. The AR10 Arc Roof comes in various dimensions 10x8m, 8x6m, 8x4m and 6x4m and all roofs are available in FD or HD Version. The top canopy is tightened with tubes and ratchet straps and the wall canopies can be either in full PVC or the wind through mash.

SR50 TT PRO ROOF The SR50 Roof consist of a TT Ground Support on eight TD44 Towers and a Roof Structure of ST Truss. The SR50 Roof is a tower based structure with a saddle roof. This saddle roof has a standard impressive load bearing TT Main Rig and an ST roof structure with a fixed angle on the four ST gables which enables you to re-build the roof in various dimensions. The standard SR50 TT Roofs are available in 24x16m, 20x16m and 16x12m all on eight TD44 Towers. The SR50 TT Pro Roof is designed and calculated to be set up on ballast bases with compression beams between the side and rear towers or can be set up with integrated bases (ballast safes) in any kind of steel scaffolding stage. The top canopy is tightened with tubes and ratchet straps and the wall canopies can be either in full PVC or the wind through mash.

All the standard sizes 10x8m, 8x6m and 6x4m are to be build with FD34 and HD34 of which the HD34 increases the load bearing capacity of the SR10 Roof. This pitched roof has a standard cantilever and a special PA frame at the sleeve blocks of the front towers which can carry a PA Load of 3.000 kg each and is a working platform to slide in the outer keder canopy. This is a result of the fact that the towers are positioned under the roof structure in order to have a fully closed roof top. The special tent profiles make it possible to build the roof in various configurations as each canopy keder frame has the same size as the MT truss sections.

A modular designed stage system build on a standard steel scaffolding system. The perfect system to get a level stage floor to set up a roof system.
The foldable ballast tanks are the perfect ballast solution which is easy to stack with a minimum of self weight and volume.

Next to the standard Bases and Ballast Safe Eurotruss also offers the Ballast Base which is a steel base on solid wheels and no outriggers or bars required. The base is designed to carry on either sides next to the tower the ballast (possible on euro pallets) or ballast tanks.
Ballast Compression Beams are handy to reduce the total required ballast per tower. Between the towers on the sides a steel compression beam is available and between the back towers a square truss is to be used as compression beam.

A few basic components - standard, ledger, diagonal brace, deck - form the basic for almost unlimited uses. Up to 8 connections can be made on one level - rosettes spaced very 0,5m
to create the structurally ideal joint. Four narrow openings in the rosette automatically centre the ledgers at right angles and create superior force transmittance.
Steel Scaffolding Stage
STAGE STRUCTURES The Eurotruss Steel Scaffolding Stage Structures start from a basic unit, each podium grows by the system dimensions (2x2m standard or 2,07x2,07m and 2,07 x2,57m) to the required size. Side guard rails (hand railing) and stairways available and easy to be build. The steel scaffoldings advantages in general: Basic Unit: Can be extended as required with various choices of layouts and levels. Substructure: High Load Bearing Capacity, rapid installation and dismantling, pallet packed. Integrated Base in Stage
BALLAST-SAFE Ballast-Safe is an innovative and clever solution to connect the roof construction to a steel scaffolding stage structure. The Ballast-Safe consist of a Base, a Bridge and two Support Beams. The Ballast-Safe gives the benefit of reducing the total required ballast by taking the self weight of the stage structure. The stage construction must be a Steel Scaffolding Structure capable of taking horizontal and vertical loads. The Eurotruss Ballast-Safe is suitable to be integrated into a scaffolding structure. The support beams of the Ballast-Safe are equipped with steel wedge heads. A Ballast-Safe integrated in a roof/ stage structure has the following advantages: Use the self weight of the stage construction to reduce the total required ballast. In a scaffolding stage structure, a levelled platform exists to build on the roof system. There is more »clearance« (distance between ground and main rig). More »free access space« between the cross wiring (sides and back wall) when the Ballast-Safe is placed in the upper area.
How it works: Bridge is placed on which the Base can be mounted. All the parts of the Ballast-Safe must be bolted together. On the Base the female receivers must be mounted to attach the tower.

The Ballast ProfiŠ has many advantages due to its foldable design, low self weight, minimum of trucking space. The Ballast ProfiŠ is patented. Standard a single Ballast Profi can take 1000 ltr water which is equivalent to 1 Ton in kg.
By purchasing a stacking kit you can put a second Ballast Profi on top of the other one and you create a double stacked Ballast Profi which is equivalent to 2 Tons in kg Ballast.
The Volume Wonder
BALLAST PROFI Temporarily covered stages like roof systems and tent structures tend to require massive ballast even if the scaffolding stage is integrated. Standard trussing manufacturers do not always recognize the big impact of massive ballast requirements. Watertanks, concrete blocks etc take huge storage and trucking space as well as renting is not always possible and can be expensive.
