It is said that children don’t help at home as they should but, how many things should they do? And, is it really necessary?
To help or not to help?
Even though it is true that young people spend a lot of time at school and doing homework, parents also spend the day working. Consequently, if they shared the housework a bit, it could be better for both. People often say that parents do the housework and cook better because they are more experienced at it. Still, youngsters have to do some things at home to learn and prepare for the future. Nevertheless, household chores don’t have to be equally divided at all. Parents could instruct their children not to be dirty and clean things that they use every day.
For all these reasons, I think that if children help in certain things at home, it could be more pleasing for parents and also for children.
